very good.. we send them letters and they send back terror...
by Ravindra on Aug 04, 2006 12:22 PM  Permalink

godd damn attempt to send a letter for peace to Pakis.. we send them letters and flowers and treat their children in our hospital.. and in return, they send us terrorists with bombs killing our people.

get rid of such ridiculous methods of pursuing peace with pak..
laaton ke bhut baaton se nahi manate...
You have to hit the donkey hard to make him understand and pakis deserve that treatment.

India Pakistan relationship

Such efforts are commendable. Young generation is only interested in peace. There is no place for hate groups in modern world today.

THESE ATTEMPTS ARE COSMETIC!
by Sreenivasan Raju Aiyer on Jan 12, 2006 10:12 AM  Permalink

These attempts are cosmetic in trying to promote friendship between the two countries. A handful of people interdining or a few thousand signing letters are in no way going to prevent the jihadis from thinking it is their duty to spread islam by terror to all non-muslim population of the world. I wish these children had spent their time fruitfully in sharpening their computer and other civilized skills which the terrorists across the borders would never be able to match!

With Love from India to Pakistan
by anushika on Jan 12, 2006 04:17 AM  Permalink

Why is the initiative always from Indians? How often do we see/hear such initiatives, msg of peace coming from Pakistan? All they send us is terrorism! Msgs, incidents replete with hatred & fear. Our actors, sportsmen donate lakhs, crores for their hospitals or charitable institutes. Indian doctors who often charge hefty fees from us (Indians) conduct free surgeries for Pakistani people; why? Do we rally need this brotherhood? I've nothing against the common man in Pakistan but unless & until the Pakistan govt & military stop supporting the terrorism veiled as Jihad, it's no use carrying any peace messages. It's a wasteage of time, energy, money & emotions.
Americans should try spreading the same meassge first in Pakistan, then come towards India. One blow of terrorism shook America & they're yet to recover: We go through it every day, at a smaller or larger scale. Often it's too small to reach TV/Radio. J&k people know what they go through, victims of Akshardhaam know what fear is and no matter how much we try, we can never know their pain, their loss.
However, I don't agree with our extremists either. We are'nt cowards but we aren't butchers either.

Friends without borders
by Michael on Jan 11, 2006 06:37 PM  Permalink

What a fantastic initiative! Can't some TV channel take this cause up? Also, how come the option to email this to a friend isn't there, on this article?

Cheers
michael

With love from India to Pak
by aniruddha on Jan 11, 2006 05:46 PM  Permalink

Excellent idea..the letter might actually help Pak Children to get Musharraf to vacate POK fully and hand over fidayeen terrorists , cap the clandestine nuclear malls and bingo , even clear MFN status for India.

Are Indian leaders listening ...yes , yes , we love to loose in (Bus yatra and Agra)love but are not so happy to win at( Kargil)war!
