In the words of Upanishad:

Sathya Meva Jayathe Nanrutham.

Truth Alone triumphs and not anything else.

May the Lord guide us eternally binding all His children.

Yes, i do agree there are more alophatetic DRUG houses and CLINICS in india, and so are liqour bars, both work on same lines, the potrayal of modernisation thru ideals of westernsation.

If one thinks the conversion is the biggest harm done to Hindu society, well, afraid not, am in europe and have converted as many as church goers to look at eastern philosophies, without giving up their love for christ. Yogananda Paramahansa says, the souls born in east will raise up in west, and viceversa.

One thing for sure, i find the westerners more dedicated to to the cause of YOGA,AYURVEDA and also protection and understanding of AGAMAS of temples.

The sacred geometry and cymatics which we hear in west have always been looked at with indepth accumen.

So am sure that HINDU thoughts and traditions will be secured by more of Globalised thinkers from all walks of life, we shud along with VIVEKS, GHOSH, SIVANANDA,GANDHI, SRI SRI - should bow down to EINSTIEN, TWAIN who have time and again said, The contribution by Hindu society to the humanity is immeasurable.

When ever people talk of third world pricing.. today i retort back telling. yes! they are just paying patenting price for ZERO/Decimas!

Well, as many have stated this need not be Pinkos vs Hindu battle., many of the ayurvedic co's in Kerla have pinko trade unionists.

Now about gurus coming on one platform, is a good thought to since long, and when initiated i find many a hardship which is not shareworthy.

Sanatan Dharma is has no box., and thats why we have a globe.

BTW, it was not MAO who said - Religion is the opium.. but it was Karl Marx - he said " Church is the opiate of masses ", thus connecting the church and the mass.

Karl was a spiritualist in his own sense.. and typical to Vivek as he believed in selfless individuality rather than the rebel individuality the commies of the stalinst leninst era maintained.

True, Mao took many a leaf out of marxism leninism.. but as any true chinese wud, they also protected their culture like their 'Oriental Medicenes' and also never interfered in Home developed Tao-confuscious-buddha matters.

In Bharat, its time up to set some standards in the professional ayurvedic practices. There are comapanies like DABUR,HIMALAYA,ARYA VAIDHYA SHALA, BAJAJ, cud collaborate to find a wider practice platform to set norms.

And well, Hindu bashing will go on, its all the divine play

Time to Wake Up!
by Gurdial Singh on Jan 17, 2006 10:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

India has to rise above its childish attitudes and be aware of hypocrites :-1. Missionaries like Mother(so called) Teressa were nothing but cunning people. Her only purpose was to convert Indians to catholic christians by blackmailing thier financial and social needs. It is so bad that India Government not only welcomed her but even promoted her as a 'Great' person. All her statues and her name should be thrown out of India asap. All missionaries should be banned from India. These are very goody cunning people.
2.All bollywood movies should be monitired. The movies which are porjecting 'America' and other western coutries as heavens should be discouraged. This is making Indians copycats.
3.Mahatma Gandhi should be dropped as Father of nation. Osho should be the new Father of Nation. All indian TV's should boradcast Osho discourse each morning and eveining in Hindi and English.
4.India has to drop its anti-sex attitude and resptect new generations and should allow boys and girls live together and sex education should be mandatory for everybody in all schools.
5. Meditation camps should spread like wildfire in all over India.
6.Common kitchens should be promoted in each temple

Understanding of Dharma
by Dr Prayag Narayan Misra on Jan 17, 2006 08:10 AM  Permalink

The views expressed by Ms Brinda Karat are very narrow minded and full of mis-understanding.

India takes pride in medicinal system , known as Ayurveda. Same applies to Yoga, which has even been practised by Russian astronauts.

When Srila Prabhupada went to USA in 1965, as per order of his spiritual master to spread Bhakti Yoga in West, no assistance was available to him from his godbrothers. Within few years, more than 250 centers and millions of followers of Inetrnational Society for Krishna Consciousness, more than 100,000 influenced and changed the world.

Demoniac tendencies are present both in East and West.Let us chose what is right to us! Hare Krishna!

Gautier
by Kabir on Jan 15, 2006 11:50 AM  Permalink

Hindus who critisize are exactly the kind of people who are a disgrace to hinduism nay to humanity itself.
Gautier is a great person who can see things objectively and hence cautions us. Infact thanks a billion to people like Gautier for their selfless service in making us aware of our shortcomings. Kabir
