phone tapping
by omega on Jan 09, 2006 02:55 PM  Permalink

trying to keep one step ahead of the other person has always been one of the basic instincts of man, and if you know what the other person is thinking u can always do that, with the advent of electronic devices this has been made fairly easy, of course the technology is limited to those who have the know how. Now with electronic exchanges and wired networks, most of them connected to the internet or beaming digital signals through satellites and other wireless means, its practically very easy to "hack" into such signals, this phone tapping business is no big deal, there is no privacy if you use modern methods of communication, every word you say is up for scrutiny, a good hacker or programmer can always tap into all kinds of signals, and govts in difft countries has been doing it for ages, tho it seems to be a relatively new phenomenon in the country, it is something that CAN be done, HAS been done, IS being done and WILL continue whether one likes it or not...the only thing i can say is watch your words someone, somewhere is listening...

read article by mr.shenoy:
1)the views seem biased and heavily loaded against the congress party.
2)10,janpath is almost held guilty!!!!!!10,janpath is always held guilty for all the sins!!!!i do not know why?is she supposed to know everything thats happening around her?
3)before the investigations are complete, there is an attack thru the media.direct assault is being made on her.thats patently unfair!that should not be allowed.
4)there is a clear cut attempt to get the max.political mileage out of attacking her.
5)but people know her.they do not believe, even for a moment, that she is behind this.she is a matured politician.almost a statesman.no,she woudnt.nothing so foolish.
6)therefore,mr.singh is requested not to try &sell it to us.we do not buy this.
instead, let it be investigated, without hurling charges that are baseless.
7)on what basis is he charging her of ordering the tapping?does he have any proof?naturally he doesnt have&its just a conjecture.to accuse the tallest leader of the ruling party, without proof, should not be allowed.its patently wrong.
tomorrow,if mr singh.is accused of any illegal act, without proof,we will side with him too.
that is democracy.

Tapping of phones.....
by R.S.Lakshminarayanan on Jan 09, 2006 01:16 PM  Permalink

It is very unfortunate that two respectable politicians holding responsible positions ought to be targetted in this way. Instead of facing them politically, unethical ways of troubling them like spying, tapping their phones etc.are not good for the polity. The SC should bring to light the discredited elements behind such horrendous acts and see to that such unlawful activities are stamped and not acted upon law abiding citizens.

Who tapped Amar Singh's phone?
by prathap V P on Jan 09, 2006 12:04 PM  Permalink

I do not know why the media giving so much of importance to Amar sigh. he is only a small fry in the larger indian democracy. He got connections at the right place to get his photos printed in all news papers. Now a days repoting is totally biased. See the selection of the person of the year. You can say the channel I can predict the person. like opinion poll. I feel a day are wii come media will be asking for the quote to give the opinion poll result. Who will quote the best price will get the verdict in their favour.

I don't think so
by bob on Jan 09, 2006 11:41 AM  Permalink

When someone(Mr.Advani and Co) who was in ayodhya and instrument in demolishing a mosque can go free for 13 yrs, this matter is nothing to noticed or to even take account of. If someone is REALLY involved in tapping this crappy little guy(Amaer singh) who is only known to be Mr.Amitabh's friend can go free too considering many other serious matters. Anyway who is this little known Amar singh by the way. You(TVR Shenoy) are little a Hyena who is waiting for some crap to lick on.

TAP!
by C.V. Venkat on Jan 09, 2006 11:15 AM  Permalink

Mr. Amarsingh, does not seem to be making so much noise for nothing. The Watergate Scandal which toppled one Mr. Richard Nixon from the US Presidency, should be the motivator. Amarsingh's parleys with Ms. Jayalalitha and Chandrababu Naidu is precisely aimed at whipping up a frenzy against the Congress. However, it remains to be seen whether the systems in our Country will permit the same results as achieved in the USA!

where is the masala & spices?
by Umesh Scaria on Jan 08, 2006 04:40 PM  Permalink

dear all,
Wire tap or pipe aside, where are the sleazy details of Amar sighs philanders? We are tired of the Bollywood masalas and spices. Lets have it in the name of Right to Information, gentlemen! Lets spice up this fiasco, as it concerns a very prominent public and cinematic personality. What is the media scared of? I have read some very sleazy materials by our journo friends when it concerned the ordinary Indian. Lets have it for the Netas too. And by the way, where is Amar Singh?
Regards
Umesh
