Give the party a turnaround. He should go back to the basics; go to the villages and mobilise people towards development--for there is where majority of India still resides. He has to veer the party away from parochial interests and make it look like an entity that is more concerned with India for tomorrow. It is high time that party comes out of the mandir-masjid ruckus and look for solid planks like education, alleviation of poverty and making a strong resurgent nation--where Ram and Rahim can dwell at peace.
BJP should reorganize themselves as quickly as possible, as I think people like me in East are losing our hopes of a change in the staff of the Red Building. And BJP should also loose track of the fat lady in the East as soon as possible.

BJP should continue to work under the influence of RSS. RSS is a very powerful, selfless and clean organization and new BJP leaders should come from RSS instead of curropt parties like Congress, SP, BSP etc. So make sure that roots are strong and at the same time clean the party from curropet leaders, workers etc. Have a strong policy against wrongdoing, never try to hide the bad ones. Work for Hinditva and Bharat.
It is true to-day that, BJP is by far, the best Political Party in the country. During their rule under the leadership of Bajpai, the country had made spectacular progress in all fronts and India was recognised in the international arena, as a strong Nation. However, there is alot of work to be done for the Country and for the Party as well: 1. Stand on the principle of Justice to all and Apeasement to None. 2. Focus on the Rural and Tribal areas, set-up Voluntary Centres for providing health, education, etc to the poor masses and work for the poor, as the Christian Missionaries are working.
3. Purge the Party to remove all corrupt members who are indulging in corruption and tarnishing the image of the Party. 4. Try to induct more and more professionals into the Party who can provide selfless service to the Masses.

The biggest problem BJP is facing today is that the leaders are bigger than the party. Rajnath, being a low profile politician himself, must ensure that this trait of his be instilled in all the top level party members. Also Rajnaths rural outlook should help the party to generate the depth it needed in India.
