I am sure if this the level and performance of governance maintained by the Indian Govt this country will go to Dogs soon. Our good old neighbours know our soft underbelly and scratches there each and every time. This Great Country will survive only and only if our so called netas stop playing vote bank politics and do something constructive for the nation. The foreign enemy knows very well that they can strike and strike hard by injecting the poision of religious divisionism into our social microcosm. I pity our brave soldiers and security officials who have laid down their life in vain.
As they said, terrorism is a virus inside the cell. What we should do is develop a vaccine to counter these terrorists. By this, I mean is we should train special group of people for counter terrorism. This is only one solution. Ofcourse there are other important issues like corruption to be dealt with first.
Perhaps, if every one touches his heart and tries to introspect honestly right from top to bottom, a large majority of them will invariably find themselves either most dishonest or incapable to manage the affairs of country as a professionalist! I don't accept any justifications and explanations blaming the system etc., A change in system to make it a full proof from any type of tampering is not such a very difficult task in the hands of present multi-degreed management, legal and other luminaries, if they are honest to the core in their attempts! In fact, such course correction is needed from time to time to put the system in the right path as per the needs of the sustained changing society, which is not taken care of. Dishonesty, absence of devotion and integrity etc., are the primary causes for such state of affairs in the country. Presence of such non-virtues at most of those in the helm of affairs inflicts more damages to the country than terrorism can impair! Will the present Government introduce such systemic changes immediately, to tackle primarily the menace of corrupt minds of large number of public in the country at all levels with utmost priority?
The terrorist attack in Bangalore is a grim reminder that we are a very "soft" state when it comes to tackling this menace. We must weed out this as soon as possible and deal with terrorists from our east with more vigour than in dealing with those from the north-west.Our survival depends on it.
When it comes to terrorism, India is a soft state and as a soft state it is more vulnerable among the four enemies of Bin Laden. It is not easy to address terrorism in India when our ignorant, power hungry politicians, money hungry public servants and profit hungry businessmen look the other way. I mention this because some times even arrested terrorists escape from prisons with impunity. Who is helping them? Public apathy is evident as well. India may be strong in weapons but when dealing an enemy within India is not only weak but indolent but conceited state.
