I think its an important judgment given. This will atleast install fear in the minds of people who think that you can get away with things, with money, muscle power and political patronage. After the Jesicca Lal and Priyadarshni Mattoo's verdict, i think most of the people of this country has lost faith in Police and Judiciary of India. this judgment will work as an refreshment and isntall some lost confidence. i want to specially appluade the judge who has sent notices to all the witnesses asking them why they should not be tried for prejury. They should be treid for misleading the judiciary and people of India.
It is a good news that some justice is shown to have been made. What happened to the culprits of Godhra massacre. Why noone is talking about them. Is it the typical religious compulsion or lack of media support for want of false identity of "secularism".
The media and the activists are very focussed on some victims of the riots. where are all these activists for the victims of the godhra train carnage?? why is the media not covering their side of the story or of the people killed in the swaminarayan temple attack?condemnation of terrorism should be for equal
Chaos to the Supreme Court of India which ordered retrial of Best Bakery case to prove that Judgement prevails in India, if not in all cases, but atleast in a few cases despite a lot of ill doings by the culprits and their associates.
Should all cases be dealt severely in this manner, crimes in our beloved homeland India, are sure to be minimised.
