Dn not be insane as others.
by Siddhaarth on Feb 24, 2006 01:50 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Nudity alone is never obscene, if it was every mother in this world would have been called somethinh else. It is the narural truth.Do not forget we all are born nude. but certainly it does not give right to any person to harm the sentiments of others.

The mother of a nude painter ,

please use 51 crore for a better reason
by Sharvari Karandikar on Feb 24, 2006 01:45 AM  Permalink

Why not spend the Rs 51 crore instead on girls education, building toilets, combating female feoticide, or fighting against domestic violence...
Fanatics..
Just leave the artists alone...why restrict creativity...
Rather focus some attention on the problems in the Indian society and begin to clean up the mess...

dont know what to say
by Shivam Pandey on Feb 24, 2006 01:01 AM  Permalink

I dont understand why we bother with all this. The other day I read some minister of the UP govt. was offering RS 51 crore to anyone who killed that Danish cartoonist... now this. Now Ashok Pandey has lost it as well! Ask me if I care who paints/says/does whatever... FYI I am a Hindu, but I'd rather have that money be put to use to help the poor. If we add Rs 51 crore and this Rs 51 crore that would give us Rs 102 crore... this money can go a long way in helping the needy. Can we all grow up please? Why are we so worried about an artist's painting and a Danish cartoon when we got people starving? Dont these politicians have something better to be working on? Guess not...

The great Indian satire
by Akhilesh on Feb 24, 2006 12:38 AM  Permalink

It is really refreshing to note the sarcasm and satire in the Hindu Law board's statement. This would have done made Jaspal Bhatti proud.

However, I do not think they should play with the masses: they might take this seriously.

what rubbish
by Munish on Feb 24, 2006 12:20 AM  Permalink

Don't know what these guys are trying to do. There are so many issues in India to work on and they have time to offer reward on stupid things. Whatever derogatory things were done should not concern anyone. All these stupid guys are ruining the cause of india and hinduism and taking us back to medieval ages. Enough of this stupidity people get back to work and try to increase productivity of india and help alleviate poverty. THat will serve India and hinduism's cause better than issuing these stupid rewards.

Rs 51cr for killing MF Hussain
by labrea on Feb 23, 2006 11:24 PM  Permalink

Since when did Hindus issue 'fatwas'? And why has no one done anything about this fetid aberration? If people has confidence in their beliefs, then no amount of "blasphemy' can make a difference. Anyways, who are puny humans to protect God, who made everything, who I'm sure, is more than capable of defending himself, if such is the case - he definitely does not 'need' mortal creatures like us, not even registering a tera-blip in time, to protect his name! So grow up, morons!
