The so called Hinduism is based on sanatana dharma derived from the vedas - It teaches that Religion & Spirituality is only between two entities YOU & GOD & nothing & nobody else, everything else is maya (transient). Evolved people will not waste time trying to destroy any of gods creation let it be a renouned cartoonist or a renouned painter.

Bounty on Hussein
by Ajay on Feb 24, 2006 04:24 AM  Permalink

I have never heard of Hindu Personal Law Board before. What is this? And the bounty on Hussein! All in the image of the worst traditions of Islamic fundamentalism. They can't even be innovative - in perspective or strategy, they are just doing low grade mimicry. It is despicable!
If every instance of irreverance is silenced, if all gods are as feeble as the Olympians, if witches (and Brunos) have to be burned at stake, if creativity has to be prostituted to city fathers' dogma, if (the worst of) culture has to be only defended ( and not created), the world (and hindu world as well as any other such world) will sink into greaveyard medievalism (as it has in certain quarters) where (wo)man will suffocate to a spiritual death and philosophical emaciation. And be sure, the society will not survive either as imagined - from the tyranny of Zeus to that of Stalin, that is the lesson of history

What a stupid ass
by Raj Reddy on Feb 24, 2006 03:24 AM  Permalink

What ever the reason, there is no need to go the route of Islamic edicts - kill a guy for money.

Hinduism is more refined than what these guys portray. I hope these idiots were not representing Hindus.

Dn not be insane as others.

Nudity alone is never obscene, if it was every mother in this world would have been called somethinh else. It is the narural truth.Do not forget we all are born nude. but certainly it does not give right to any person to harm the sentiments of others.

Why dont a hindu try painting hussains women folk and mother in nude ???...a s per the same creativity standards ?

The mother of a nude painter ,

The sister of a nude painter ,

The nude queen of the countries that shelter him....such like !

Let us see how sportive his people and the muslims will take it ???

Some one has to try this out bravely.
