Our Legal System
by NP on Feb 23, 2006 03:58 PM  Permalink

Our country is great!!!! From school to Judicial System everything is corrupt. If you are rich you can buy everything even the justice.........i don't know how many people like Jessica would have been the Victims of our systems, keep going to court every other week, hearing after hearing but no results... well that is how we work.... and none of us of are bothered as long as it doesn't affect us and we don't raise voice though we know it is a brutal injustice...uhh that is how we are.........

May be we are not meant for Democracy..
by V.Vaideeswaran on Feb 23, 2006 03:54 PM  Permalink

I never beleived when my parents told me, if you wish to have a peaceful life in our country, never put yourself into a situation, wherby you end up visiting any of the these three palces, COURT,POLICE STATION OR HOSPITAL.Our country represntatives are one of the finest in the world and we still get to see the loop holes in the system. Is there something wrong with the System? I would look at it as "NO". Its we the people who have to change in order to see the change. Does it sound more like easier said than practised? "YES" it does.Reason being, Corruption evoloves from us,each and every one of us. Everyone of has bend the rules of our system in one way or the other. Be it breaking the line for buying Milk in the morning to offering bribe to the traffic constable catching you for driving without a licence.sounds too good to be true? Regret to say "YES". I used to be a civic without a sense, now i am trying to combine them together to "answer myself"...the least i can do for my country. "Things dont change, unless you want to!!"Jai Hind.

Jessica Lal murder case !!
by Rohit Bhanot on Feb 23, 2006 03:37 PM  Permalink

This was a STUNNING verdict!! That means a FEMALE is NO LONGER safe in India ..after this verdict. I'm very surprised by this decision. It shows that one person in every family has to be either a Politician or a RICH businessman, to play around with the law of our country to survive.

Injustice-to jessica and family,
by K..S.SHASTRY on Feb 23, 2006 03:32 PM  Permalink

To, Sabrina, Iam sorry to hear this news, i thought that he will get life inprisonment, this is the best example, if the case is dragged too long, it is shameful, the people (lawyers, and judges, police) who know the reality, one or the other day they have to face, they will die their own death, god is always there behind good people, he will strenthen you all physically and mentally.

It is a shame...
by Ajay Anand on Feb 23, 2006 03:24 PM  Permalink

It is a shame that despite knowing everything - who did the murder, how was it done, what was the motive, first of all it took so long for the judgement to happen. And, then the judgement would be what it was. All of the convicts acquitted. What made you do so Mr. Justice. This is an example of "Andha Kanoon"

In todays world, where money can buy anything, the day is not far when the youth of India would be doing justice by themselves as in Rang de Basanti.....
