This Normal
by Harmit on Feb 23, 2006 06:36 PM  Permalink

This is normal justice for the common man in India, nothing out of the ordinary. One has three options to deal with it:

A. Kill yourself because you cant take living in this kind of a society

B. Kill the other guy

C. Do nothing and die a little every day

Justice for the weak is a dream
by Nikhil Shah on Feb 23, 2006 05:46 PM  Permalink

I am convinced that justice to the weak is still a dream.

I get saddened that the poor, weak ,ill influenced suffer at the altars of Court of law. Justice is delayed and denied.

Justice to Jessica
by Mohit on Feb 23, 2006 05:45 PM  Permalink

I got too much disturbed after seeing the verdict. Feel sorry for Jessica's family for the traumatic time they have had waiting for justice. The supreme court should step in on its own & bring the guilty to book.

sum questions to jassica's sister
by gaurav sharma on Feb 23, 2006 05:43 PM  Permalink

hi
we all know our system ,those witnesses who have turned hostile in this case, are the biggest culprits to the society and to the coming generation.
But sum questions to jessica's family ;
1 why did u stop going to courts after 2002 ?
2. why are'nt u showing any intrst in going to higher courts when all the expences are paid by govt.
3.Cant v call this reluctance of yours to your own sisters case a kind of hostility ???
4.If the own family members are not showing intrst what is sin others have done going hostile ??
5. Your presence in the court cud prove to be a moral booster for eyewitnesses as well aspolice too??
cu'nt u give a little time for your sister in her last honour ????
these are questions ,that need to be answered.

What a joke !
by V.K on Feb 23, 2006 05:31 PM  Permalink

By aquitting the murderers, the legal system has once agian exposed itself. If murderers walk scott free like this, it only adds credibility to the belief that one can get away with anything in India if you have the right connections !

IN public prosecution and public punishment is the only option
by sam on Feb 23, 2006 05:05 PM  Permalink

hi,
this is sam, an INDIAN. i feel very sorry on the part of jessica and her troubled family.
well this should not happen.really this case taught each and every citizen a perfect lesson that those who have money/ political power can be free.
see, how when British priminster was Iraq nuke dossier, he was interviewd in public in from of media which some part was brodcasted live on BBC.
its an warning message to the people of INDIA that, fight the case more tactfully, fight for the truth, that these kind of cases has to be prosecuted in public and if found guilty severly punish in public, so that in future none will dare to act in this manner it should be fallowed for common citizen to the PRESIDENT OF INDIA.
