Manu Sharma Verdict
by Dominic Savio Fernandes on Feb 24, 2006 08:55 AM  Permalink

When the rich and the influential and politicians and their children go scott free, frustation may creep in among the common people and it may encourage them to take the law in their own hands. Most of the politicians are goondas and corrupt to the core. They have also managed to corrupt the police and intimidate witnesses. Something needs to be done quickly to rectify the situation. Manu Sharma needs to be given the severest of punishment, including those who helped him to get away with his crime.

Jessica's Murderer will die of remorse - a very painful death of his own !

Shame on the many cowards of our country - the hostile witnesses, the celebrity cowards in parties, the dastardly criminals and his cronies !

To top it all pathetic police and inadequate judicial system at that !

Way to Go 'Mera Bharat Mahaan' - Indeed !!

Well when it takes 7 yrs for a murder case to be resolved in the Indian Judiciary system..i can imagine the plight the victims ..It clearly shows how ineffective the Indian Judiciary system is!!...the Jessica Lal murder Case clearly corroberates the fact that "IN INDIA" if you the money and the power you can get away with anything ..just not murder!!!..

To the Lal family...
by BKumar on Feb 23, 2006 09:33 PM  Permalink

My heartfelt condolences to the Lal family, the entire episode must have really been very tough on the family and they have really gone through a lot of trouble to get this far and still justice not delivered.
Our lives these days seem to be controlled by the power of money, everywhere people are looking for the "green" to satisfy their immideate needs in this fast life. People are concerned if they are satisfied they are not bothered about the society and the happenings around them. Its a lesson they will realise only when the problem is present at their house, then the will be on the other side of the fence and hoping someone will hear their cry.
Society and living in it are interrelated, the more we dedicate towards it the returns are promised, the more we turn the other way and look at greed, jealousy and other materialistic things the more we shall face the music when it's our turn.
Justice if not delievered in this life will be delivered by the almighty finally, the only solace for us is to rely on God and pray because its only "Hope" that keeps us afloat.

didn't want Manu Sharma hanged
by alexander on Feb 23, 2006 08:49 PM  Permalink

this is miscarriage of justice. the case was well covered in the media and deserved some punishment to the accused. the acquittal has put a question mark on the judicial system and the judiciary.

It is shame to India and our Justice
by Vinodh on Feb 23, 2006 07:30 PM  Permalink

If we cant hang Manu Sharma then the hang the judicial system we follow. For a crime like this we should not expect President to get involved to arrest a culprit.
This happen in a public place .It is obvious there were lot of people including police are present. But now we are letting the culprit go free!
Only god can help or may be we need Ram to take avatar and kill with Bow and Arrow!!
