This is really Shame on us and on our law. Jessica's sister is ABSOLUTELY right that there should be more values for circumstantial evidences. Most eyewitnesse turns hostile and if accusssed is powerful (muscle or money power or both)100% eyewitnesses turns hostile.
The Real culprit is our system. You would have spoken? probably not. because the entire system Police,Judge, Politician etc all are with the Manu Sharma. They are scaring you all the time. Would you speak up in this situation? He was freed on bail to tramuraise the witnesses.
If their is no trust in the system because they are so powerful, who will speak yourself??
what a pride our constitutional and legal system can take. Every now and then the goddess of LAW is being getting raped by the so called influencial people of the society and the worst thing is that the normal people like u and me can\'t do anything because we don\'t have any direct powers. Our power is to only choose the public representatives, who then enjoy the political games. A case where the culprits should get nothing except death orders , he is getting \"baaizzat bari\". I never expected that those culprits will b freed , i am really hurt by the decision of court in this matter. BIG QUESTION----HOW CAN COMMON MAN CAN TRUST LAW AND ORDER? Yes the rich do get around legal hurdles with our judicial system All I can say at his stage is Mera Bharath Mahan.There are many Jessicas in our mahan country who never see jsutice.
I am truly ashamed to be an Indian. If this is the state of our justice system then all is lost. I now understand why millions of young educated Indians opt to go abroad and willingly give up their Indian citizenship. The system leaves us with little or no choice but to take the law in our own hands and punish the guilty a la Daya Naik style.
Gross injustice has been done to the Jessica Lal murder case by acquitting the accused.It happened because of the pathetic nature of our legal system.The riches having a political connection get scotfree whereas the masses suffer.What the big deal if the witnesses turned hostile ? There were enough evidence against the fellow Manu Sharma.Jessica was shot in front of a host of people.This guy should have been hanged to death.In india the accused is acquitted while the innocent people suffer.Legal system is a big farce in India.May Jessica's soul rest in peace.I pray to the God for that.
So is this what your Indian Values are? Is this what you would have done had it been your sister? Is this right? I am ashamed and beg forgiveness from God to be born in the same society as all of you who chose to look the other way when one of our own was killed for just doing her duty. I wish your own son/daughter will look you in the eye and ask you why you kept silent becuase the accused can now target anyone, including your own. So what will you do then..surely you will look the other way because that's who you are. My thoughts and prayer are with Jessica's family during these difficult times. Wonder if they are more sad today after watching this failure of the Great Indian Legal System than they were when the apple of their eye was taken away by a rich, stupid, brat because he didn't get what he wanted. I pray to God and hope there will be some natural justice. So let's hang our heads in shame and pray for Jessica's soul, May she rest in peace.
