Jessical Lal's culprits
by K. Srinivasan on Feb 22, 2006 02:45 PM  Permalink

Today I feel ashamed to call myself Indian. It is very clear from the judgement that the entire system has beeen subverted.

If everybody is acquitted in this case, can anybody in this country, particularly the Head of the Judiciary or Law Minister tell this country how Jessica has died.

Fellow countrymen, this is the wake-up call for all of us. Tomorrow you may not have police department, you may not have CBI and you may not even have Judicial system.

Do we take everything what comes in our way or we fight the corrupt system and live a proud Indian? Let us do something.

Srini

The decesion taken by the Judge is as per the law the main culprit is the police had it been a poor citien of india a torture of third degree by police could have easily told the truth and in that case no evidence was required .Now the time has come where our all machinery has failed only and every where as Suprmecourt is playing the role should act to save the face of our judicial system

DO THE RICH AND WEALTHY GET AWAY
by sanjay jain on Feb 22, 2006 02:43 PM  Permalink

Even wondering for a second whether the rich and the wealthy get away with the most heinous of crimes is comical.Cauz the fact is that its an undeniable truth clearly borne out by several examples.

The top politicains name figured not so in the distant past in the infamous Jain Havala case.Much hungama was created and the case went on for a number of years only leading to the acquittal of all one by one either from the trial court or from the higher courts.

The next famous trial relates to the Babri Masjid Demolition accused where the hitherto ruling partys politicans are accused.Despite a number of governments changing in Uttar Pradesh no government had the least of desire to pin down the accused and none will be.

Do we forget the Amma of the south?Accused in several cases of Dispproportionate Asset Cases and granting favours to her adopted family all she had to suffer was a day in the infamous Madras Jail only to be rewarded with a return to power in Tamil Nadu.

The most glaring and perhaps the most shocking case in independent India!s history of the rich and powerful people getting away with no punishment is the case of Lalu Prasad Yadav.

jessica lal
by sane voice on Feb 22, 2006 02:32 PM  Permalink

I am distraught and angry, i want to know whether Jessica Lal was killed in Bina Ramanis Bar, If yes than Bina Ramani and The Investigatators who were responsible to ensure safety and justice resp have failed deliberaely and miseraly and should be held accountable. The entire legal system in India needs revamp but more than that the general public needs to reflect in the way they are and bringing up the next generation ( shameful to say the least )
