well a lot said and discussed on this issue. i just want to bring to notice of people that why not a criminal case was being filed against the ramani's for tampering with evidences(washing the bloodstains).this was most imp point b'coz she could have been pushed to the corner and then it could have been possible that she could have been used as approver for the case. next why we only transfer the officials who where investigating the case. they should have been suspended. third, why not no immediate lie detector test was being performed on the witnesses specially Ayan Munshi, beena ramani & malini ramani.
You are so right when you say "the real culprits are those who did not speak up". For every mistake, every crime, every act of corruption, commission and omission, we have tons of explanation and rationale.
Like millions, I am so happy to see that things are now moving in the right direction.
Look whose talkin! Most of the lawyers fight these cases and often save the culprit and then cry that the system is wrong!isn't it time that you all first correct yourself and then talk about changing the system!
This gentleman takes the cake. He has not addresses the situation which lead to all the witnesses keeping quite. Why not give a solution which would help witnesses give an account of reality and still not be harresses by the murderers. The court in the first place let Manu Sharma off. That started the whole process. Why blame the witnesses?? Stupid really!!!!
1. Why the witnesses become hostile? What protection (in real sense) the witnesses get from the government, lawmakers, law implementers etc. 2. What happens to the officials investigated the case and there is clear evidence of wrong findings, whether it is deliberate (a serious offence and more heinous than the actual crime, as it is committing a crime using the official power and public money as it is using a weapon against society provided by the society) or due to incompetence (it is doubtful and even if so what a waste of public money to protect such incompetence). What actions are initiated to propagate the messages to the society (suspension, transfers are merely eyewash to hush-up the matter). Why the entire findings are not put to public in transparent way (Memory of general public fades very fast. Remember the episode of Mr. Manjuath, an IIM alumni and employee of Indian Oil Corporation, who was gunned down at U.P. to protect the honesty of society and his employer. Courageously parents met to H.E. President of India also.) 3. Is there dearth of responsible/honest leadership in our country?
I have been following this story for a long time. I have read many newspapers and magazines. What I see is that Jessica lal has been denied justice. The court says the accused have been aquitted of the crime they are charged. Every body is shouting from the roof top "missscaraige of Justice". every paper is priinting the jessica lal side. BUT WHERE IS THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS CASE. Why is the press not getting the other side of the story. Is this JUSTICE. I have not seen one article carring the version of the accused.
As I m growing old I fel shame that I belong to India. We make this country Like this. Every one is currupt. General public is currupt. If he is politicial, He is currupt. If he is judge, he is currupt. if he is Gov, Officer he is currupt. So we can't blame any one. just try to handle an autoRishka driver happily. This is a simple Example of real picture of this country. Actaully We should try to change Our Education System with more civic knowledge and Nationality.
I was reading up some of the thousands of mails out about JL's case. Has it struck anyone that despite being governed by a foriegn power for many years when it comes to governing ourselves we have, as a Nation failed miserably. We lack moral character and are essentially gutless. Those who have stood up to wrongs have been silenced. Its because we have the herd mentality, when it comes to talking about 'blame'. We do not seem to be able to stand up with erect spines because we have sold our souls. Let readers decide to whom.
Madam Jaisinh I honestly wonder if all our collective crocodile tears will bring justice to this land.
When something like this happenes. There starts the Blame game.... he is responsible for this .... they are responsible for this.... We should do this / that. This is what makes me sick. We are to blame for the justice to be not delivered. We blame the media for not leading the nation. Tell me how many readers in india like reading about rapes and murders? I know most of my friends just skip the pages to pages on Britney or Priyanka. We are cacooning ourselfes from the filth outside saying it will not happen to us. The Media does not cover these cases because they dont sell, because the public does not pay interest. Remember pigs live in pig stys. The justice is rotting because we are rotten. The police is dirty because we are dirty. Clean yourself to clean everyone and the world around you. Stop blaming and putting the job of changing the system into someone elses hands. Take it in your own hands. The Developed Countries wernt just given excellent justice systems from god. They faught, suffered and died for the systems they have now. We as individuals have to be ready to do this, in the name of justice, morality, Humanity. Next time you see injustice STOP IT! DONT BE PART OF IT.
