Money and Power in Indian Judicial system
by Sanjay on Feb 22, 2006 03:54 PM  Permalink

There is nothing strange in this..this is how Indian Judicial System works. Politicians are using their power and money to get rid of such cases. Police is the one who carries out FIR but before it is written, they get the copy of how and what to write. So there is lacking of evidence from the first step and as you go further these thing are repeated over and over again.
There are only two ways one is to make the Judicial system strong and second though illegal.. is to punich the culprits with your won hands.

Jesica Lal murdered by Indain Penal Code
by Santosh Bhansali on Feb 22, 2006 03:53 PM  Permalink

Hello Dear,

I dont see there's anything that's new that has happened. What has happened is going on for years. One realises only after he/she goes through that channel.

So it's not Rich & Poor people who are wrong, because,it's been INDIAN history full of curroption, rape's,murders, everything you can think, is there in INDIAN history. It was there when Maharaja's were ruling, then with english, everywere money, power & money power has been dominant. So when we framed our IPC we took every possible step to put a gate on every border of curroption,& wrong things. But we could have put hell's instead of gates.NOw the gates are opened by the keys of Law & It's Legal system ,the watchman is doing the job.So i dont think anything new, what has happened,It's just a murder by IPC of Jesica. She just is scape goat. Now you & we all are left to move ahead. In which direction we go is our decision. But i know, everybody reading Jesica's story, does one thing in common,ALT+F4 or Close the page.END of one more story.

I know we dont have a common platform ,but who gurantees a common platform if made will be a true struggle for truth/Justice & not poloticaly motivated.

I just Say Sorry JESSICA,IPC killed U

Hats Off to Indiraji
by Wiqar Ali Sayed on Feb 22, 2006 03:53 PM  Permalink

Really Couragous....

But Indiraji knows this very well that inspite of her pleading and making such good and mind blowing articles and speeches, we the citizens of Great India and our Great and Very HONEST Public Servants who are responsible for each and every case from a HAwaldar to Supreme Court Judge will just read it and press the BACK button on the Browser and forget it. She should understand that even Supreme Court Judges has families and so do our Great and HONEST Police Force, and these families are feed on these very Rich and Powerful Person' money and not by our Tax Money. These people are MORE DANGEROUS AND THREAT to our country tha Pakistan or any Terrorist. Common Man should wake up its high time now and get rid off these ridiculous people by using their Vote Power and last but not least my sincere sympathy with Late Jessica Lal' families and friends. Sometimes I think India is a larger picture of Bihar....

Jessica Lal's case
by Kapil Chawla on Feb 22, 2006 03:49 PM  Permalink

The decision of the court is a reel life coming to life in front of the entire country.

It's not only disturbing but also threatening in itself as it points out that someday even I or you may be killed for anything or better still, nothing, and the culprits will enjoy their wines and cigars, for only they could afford loads of them!

Maybe a real life RANG DE BASANTI is underway!!

I am sorry for Jessica Lal,her family, friends and myself, for I can't do anything like many others,or can we really do something?

Hi,

I am realy ashamed to be the part of this system..

Cant we investigate properly? can't we punish the criminals? Cant we protect the witness? Can the citizen's survive here.

Everywhere Corruption, fear, empowering..

I never seen a case where the politicians, Policemen, defence people were puniched for their crime.

Jessica Lal's real culprits
by G Vishwanath on Feb 22, 2006 03:45 PM  Permalink

Hear ! Hear!

Indira has echooed my thoughts exactly.

Salman too will go scot free.

He drinks and drives rashly and runs over an innocent man.

He hunts illegally and slits the throats of deer.

He bashes up the most beautiful woman in the world.

His crazy fans still find nothing wrong with him and believe he is being victimized.

Finally it took years for a judge to decide that he is indeed guilty in the illegal hunting case.

The court has given him a month and he will use it gainfully and successfully to appeal and get the verdict overturned.

Pataudi too will find a way out.

He is rich and powerful.

The authorities will find an escape route for him too.

What can poor judges do?

They may know the truth.

But verdicts are not based on what the truth is.

They are based on the "evidence" placed before a court.

Sukhram is still free.

The MP's who took money for asking questions were merely expelled from parliament.

They will never be jailed.

The law is only for us, the common citizen.

This is India!

A CYNICAL CITIZEN

diference between demolition drive and Jessica Lal case
by sudhir suri on Feb 22, 2006 03:43 PM  Permalink

The first case was possibly devoid of money power. The latter case is indicative of the money power. The judiciary could have been been proactive and ask for reordering of investigation/administrative action against the investigating staff.
