The thoughts mentioned by Indira Jaising are bery correct. It is shameful for the society for not coming forward & declaring the truth. Our judicial system must not go through the law books. But it should be very powerful in implementing the judicial system.
What a justice....salman khan killed a blackbug, got sentenced for a year; Manu sharma and others killed a human being and were acquitted......This happens only in India...I have to accept this now.
We talk of justice, we talk of great cases being solved. Its now history when we have last heard someone powerful being punished. If a person can do crime in the open, feed his enemies to his pet crocodiles and still be a minister in U.P. if someone has the audacity of killing someone in the open and then getting himself released on bail in a murder case! and then opening a restaurant in Chandigarh for the simple reason that they are powerful, then the law of the country needs an immediate change. When every body can be sold for a price, then its high time we say that the judiciary is only for a certain section, and for the elite class I think they should be given an elevation because they have proved that they are above the law. Commonsense can tell you that nobody would be on the run after doing nothing. If you are hell bent on witness then who was the eyewitness for the heinous crime Dhanonjoy executed for which he was hanged. Reason money speaks but remember both the crimes were created on somebodies daughter. The poor was hanged and the rich opens a new restaurant.
What message Ms.indira jaising wants to convey? Does she mean that common man has lost faith in Indian Judicial system? Does she wants to say that the Judges are not doing proper duty and causing injustice?
It gives an impression that the police are deliberately not collecting solid cast iron evidence. Does this tantamount to abetting? Where is the Human Rights Commission? No doubt it is jam packed with retired foggies. But still it must not sleep over in this case. They have slept enough. It must demand retrial from the Supreme Court outside Delhi.
The verdict stinks, and one's hackles rise, to know the murderers are loose and could commit a similar murder all over again. It is similar to the notorious OJ SIMPSON trial, when the entire US were watching the trial on TV, and the media had serial stories dramatizing the fatal killing of Nicole Simpson by none other than her husband, in all major magazines. And yet he went scot free, first because he was a sports hero, then came the Black issue which was a sensitive one, and though he escaped the criminal trial, he lost the civil case and had to pay a colossal fine for a misdemeanour that did not amount to much. Anyway, my sympathy for the bereaved Jessica's family. Nothing can bring that young girl back again!
There is nothing strange in this..this is how Indian Judicial System works. Politicians are using their power and money to get rid of such cases. Police is the one who carries out FIR but before it is written, they get the copy of how and what to write. So there is lacking of evidence from the first step and as you go further these thing are repeated over and over again. There are only two ways one is to make the Judicial system strong and second though illegal.. is to punich the culprits with your won hands.
