Be Vegeterian!
by Rushabh Hemani on Feb 21, 2006 11:23 AM  Permalink

Bird Flu has become a global menance and its a reality.

This can be looked upon as as peak of an ice-burg. There is lot more to follow if the situation is not handled carefully and scientifically.

Bird flu should be treated as an early warning for those who has non-vegeterian diet.

It is scientically proven that human being's digestive system is meant to be as herbivourous and are by nature vegeterian.

It's high time we switch over to healthy vegeterian diet. Its is also humane not to kill poor animals and birds just to satisfy our taste buds or for recreation (shooting of wild animals, etc.)

I am a staunch vegeterian because i beleive in treating all living creature with due dignity and respect.

There are purely my views and I abide to it. It is upto readers to make their own judgement.

regards. Live and Let Live!

eating chicken
by Anand on Feb 21, 2006 10:48 AM  Permalink

Yes, I continue to eat chicken. I am aware that our traditional cooking practice eliminates the threat of infection. All enveloped viruses are infact heat-labile.

Chill folks! Eat chicken to yer heart's content. I've been hogging my favorite chicken dishes same as before.

I feel bad for my newly opened KFC (New Delhi). What a bad time to enter the Indian market. And this is their second try, by the way :-] Poor they.

Is it safe to eat chicken
by Rajeev Dewan on Feb 21, 2006 10:31 AM  Permalink

It is very easy to say and very difficult to act.
Will Mr.Raomdas be daring enough to lead from front and eat chicken in public if he is nonvegetrain . Also he should first advise his fellow menbers of parliament who have refused to eat chicken in open.
