the reason being that the Indian style of cooking food ; which uses spices and high temprature cooking should be enough to kill the Virus - H5N1(Bird Flu); so i would rather be more than pleased to continue eating chicken.
Hi, Nobody is ready to risk their life. There are ample number of incidents of death because of bird flu across the world. If money is lost nothing is lost..If health/life is lost..everything is lost!
why should one take a risk.and that also risk of life.we should control ourselves from eating chicken at lest till this bird-flu completly disappear from india.it is always better to prevent then cure.and if someone has a habbit of eating nonveg daily there are lots of alternative like meat, fish and etc.
yes eating meat in present scenario is safe especially when bird flu is limited to maharshtra belt. moreever the h5n1 orthomyxovirus which causes bird flu/ avian influenza in poultry is susceptibel to heat and easily get destroyed upon proper cooking. so go ahead and enjoy to uour fill but be cautious, while purchaing and handling raw chicken. happy eating
Chicken you are eating is not infected : What guarantee ? Food Ministry can not guarantee us that the chicken we r eating is not infected and sterilised; since the chickens sold in market are not sold always from reputed poltry farm.
