eating chicken
by kunal on Mar 02, 2006 11:26 AM  Permalink

i do not take the idea of eating chicken at this moment. lots of chicks are dying because of the disease. even previously one was not sure while eating chicken whether or not the dish served out was not from a dead chicken.

and now with bird flu. will all the dead chicks be buried?/?is the question. so keep out of chicken till summer. this way it will revitalise the chicken industry.

so if people still want to eat chicken, some poor souls will have to handle the sick birds? the people who eat it, will be safe cuz they will cook it at the so called high temperatures, but what happens to those people who have to handle the birds in order to satisfy the eaters taste buds??!!
may be there should be a law, if you want to eat chicken, kill it yourself and eat it....that way 90% of the people will turn vegetarian!!!!

Well I am from Kolkata which is as far away from Maharasta as brobably Poland is away from France. So when bird flu erupted in France there was no news people about people from Poland stopped consuming chicken or eggs for that matter.

I presume the only people who should be careful are the people on there neighbouring districts or maybe for precautionary measure neighbouring states.

People as far as West Bengal or the North East dosen't need to panic. What needs to be done is a full stop to all Chicken related products movement from near the affected and nearby areas.

Hi.... The price of chicken has dropped drastically due to the fear of "BIRD FLU" in the minds of people. There is no "Confirmed" case reported. This is all panic. Yesterday I bought 35kgs of chicken at the rate of Rs. 17 per kg. WOW......... I'm sure going to be the one enjoying for a looong time. Just trust in Jesus........ He promised to bless my food and water and keep sickness and disease away from me and my family.

Not worth taking the risk.

We can always go for the other forms of meat rather than chicken, so why take unnecessary risk.
