Order! Order! I can't belive a judge would behave like this in court. And i hope the judge is given punishment that he deserves for a comment like that. Its very shameful and it throws light at the fact that judges who decide on important cases, the person people hope for to give justice aren't themselves doodh ke dhule. According to my judgement the comment by the judge in the court is a contemp of court.
Hmmm, no wonder the statue of Lady Justice is blindfolded !! Dhingra obviously showed such contempt because he thought he could walk away with it... I only wish it remains just that !! Let this protest sound the much needed wakeup call...
I was sadenned by reading this. Even with country progerssing so much, the basic thinking of a male remains as the uncivilized. Its unfortunate that wemen feel that it was a crime being born as woman. I wish Ms. Choudhary will have strong will to come out of this episode & gets justice.
I fought out a case in Delhi High Court way back between 1980 and 1983. At a particular juncture, my lawyer needed an adjournment and was sure he won't get it if he himself appeared and asked for it. I was wondering how he was going to manage the adjournment. He sent one of his juniors - a pretty young girl with me to the Court and just as the lawyer expected, the girl could easily get the job done without any argument within minutes.

kahani main twist hai.
evenwhen this young lady could not get the adjournment then she made a flase compliant to bar association and CJI about sexual harrasement as a tool a harrase and let male judges know "WOMEN POWER" in 21st century. Even then after proper investigation that Judge was found innocent then some Sr.Feminist has started writing to media and misguide innocent junta as they did in Huaband Killer-Kiranjit Singh Ahluwaia.
Abla naari in 21st century. Good women are suffering in india and not getting justice because of some bad women in the society who are misusers of law.
Its indeed a shame for all those who talk about the India as a superpower in the coming years . We must try to streghthen from the grassroot level. The women should be treated equal in all respects. But when such incidents happen, I feel we must first recognise women as a human being then only we can go on next step. I personally feel that the laws should be fullproof enough to tap all loopholes and the creatures like the justice dingra should be treated like a criminal as they treat them in countries like saudi arebia. He should be given a severe punishment , so that nobody else will even think of doing such crimes against their sisters and mothers . It is a moral rape on the women. He should be punished like a rapist.
Before jumping to conclusions, in this obviously biased article, the judge should get a chance to explain his side of the story......... Moreover, the lawyers in our country are absolutely corrupt, devoid of any morality. (irrespective of their sex..) The frequent strikes, and holding courts and public to ransom is ample testimony to this fact
Choudhary has reported this incident which shames our judiciary - If the Judiciary itself can humiliate a womna to this extent God alone will save the women of this country. Being a womna is indeed a crime in India - esp if one has brains to think as an individual. Geeta
