well it was a nice and simple middle class story tand such scenes are easily available in indian middle class families were guys are specially required to prove themselves in front of their relatives . comparisions are made between the cousins and siblings. But it seemed the guy sam was quite satisfied with what he was doing and he knew that no one else were bothered to understand him but still quite sure that he was proud that he had a well paying job and he need not prove anything to anybody. he seemed a very carefree types.

True that most people scorn at call center people as though they are aliens. Simple funda, even the "big software guys" are BPO employees if u get into what outsourcing is all about. People need to wake upto reality. An eye opener to some "blind" people.

Nice Book
by avneet singh on Feb 09, 2006 06:06 PM  Permalink

I have read Chetans both books, and though 'One Night' is impressive, I personally feel that 'Five Point Someone' was far better. But this is expected, since the college time is more eventful, besides the author had first hand experience of it.

I have a small suggestion....Chetan you can explore the life of an NDA cadet as a theme for your next novel?

Well...story was good..so the presentation. I've read this book twice....felt a bit uneasy about the guys go out in Qualis..I don't think that is possible in any call center...the climax also ended in a filmi way....
