One should salute the Delhi High Court for the refusal to stay demolitions. If all other High Court's follow the same stand then India will become a great and clean country with broad roads. At present in majority of the cities, the illegal construction is carried out and then ask them to pay fine and then regularise the same and cause taffic jams. The High Court should strip off the jobs of all municipal officials concerned when it stops demolitions. When these officials lose the job the others in future will think twice to sign or allow illegal constructions. The politicians whosoever it may be a M.P. or an M.L.A. should lose his seat and then it will be a lesson to all others who will lose their job for helping illegal constructions. At present, the poor investors are at great loss and these politicians help in illegal constructions. The people who have saved money are taken for a great ride and many are seen crying and sobbing which is a pathetic site. After all whose fault it is when you go to a Municipality office and find a valid 'Occupation certificate', water connection and Electricity suppliers provide power supply and finally it is declared as illegal.
High court's order says nothing but " no one is higher than law ".It will create a fear among illegal property builders, awareness in general people to purchase new properties with full care , and certainly it gives signal to lower courts to pass such pending orders.
Good sence is prevailing in our Executive as well as in Judiciary.I wish such sence prevails in our common people so that everybody understands what is Good for us and for our children. Our overwelming support is their for them who take such actions. Satish Saxena
