Musharraf's attitude is a good indicator he wants solution based on his imaginary goal, that is either it is part of Pakistan or Independent Kashmir. He has the tenacity to tell India to heed his need or step aside. This brings to questions in my mind. One when he says Kashmir , is he talking of the valley or whole J and K? Second is he really thinking India voluntarily to follow his dictums? I do not know understand his attitude towards India. Like his predecessors, he has no idea about India's inner strength as a nation despite its outward weaker appearance. His sarcastic and rude attitude comes from his arrogance and his conceitedness of Pakistan's inflated stregth. Some people tend to think their inflammation is their muscle. When facts are eclipsed with perceptions, we think perceptions are facts. That is Musharraff. Can any one force India on Kashmir on International level?? Musharraff dream on ...........................
Firstly, Pak being the agressor, must remove it's troops from POK, then and only then will India discuss anything with them - that is the message to Generalissimo Mush that Dr Singh must send.
How could we give up after so many years? How could we not values the thousand life of the past?
I agree with all your sentiments! When we look at the long term benifit of the people of Kashmir, population of India. Economically and socially this is going to be good for us.
A loss is a loss for the nation. If the loss could supress future losses, the loss is divine. We could give Kashmir independent status, but not financial aid from population of India. We have already spent and lost enough life to safe gaurd it...
But before all did anybody bother to ask the common man of Kashmir what he needs? They are the right people for decide.
On either the side we as a nation would win. Also, we could hope to fulfil the thurst of all Pakistani Politician after the loss of Bangladesh.
Why did India intervien into their internal matter? Now we have them intervein in to ours? That too who... "The greatest enemy of Democracy" ...
The statement of General Musharaf is quite understandable. Here is a man steel . He has taken steps which no other leader would have even dreamed of.We as kashmiris have been made as sacrifising goat. And this only india is to be blamed. Seems as if india is not serious in resolving the long pending issue. They want kashmiris to be killed by who ever wants to do so. Now in very near future another war is in the making.
