There you are,Rajiv
by Siva on Feb 02, 2006 08:51 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Quite a rant and rave you do Rajeev.I would advice you to stop dreaming abt the past and come to the present. And I implore you to stop getting excited.
What plans have you got by fortnightly ranting other than stirring emotions ...undo the past....can you do that??I doubt it.
You seem to go on and on about the same subject again and again..Please introspect..Over the last two years how many articles have you written with the same background...eh..the same whinings over and over..nothing new I am afraid.
I am of the view that you are one of the perfidious lot, who does not want out mother India to be united and would want to forment divisions into people's mind with your irresponsible piece of journalism.Since I gather you to be living in US (a patriot eh)--to borrow the dreaded Marxist usage--I wonder if you are in CIA payroll.I am sure your ilk would never India to rise up powerfully as one nation.Shame on you, Sir.
As a fellow keralite, I would hesitate to introduce you to others, If an oppurtunity arises at all.Such is my disposition.
Jai Hind.

RE: Pseudo-secularist

Siva, you sound as a typical pseudo-secularist and Communist.

Do not worry, you will be evicted by your fellow Keralites ( the Ms and Js) in less than 50 years. Better look for some place in Karnataka, unless you are planning to emigrate to Canada/Australia.

Good Luck

Hinduism with strengths have weaknesses too
by jay on Feb 02, 2006 08:36 PM  Permalink

It is the biggest gift to seek for ones direction rather than tread the path lead by a leader! Hindus seek directions and they discover spiritualism and even religions! However, this also breaks people away from following hindu tenets. Hinduisim, the way to live your life will exist as long as the world remains, but the religion hinduism and hindus will not remain a majority even in India! Unfortunately, hinduism has no direction when it comes to unity amongst themselves & helping each other. Though hindus will tread new paths, hindu will always be dominated by other civilizations. Otherwise how can 3% minority & 20 % minority enjoy so much previleges over a 75% majority????

When the Govt of India itself is pleasing the minority and degrading hindus how do you want the world to look upon hindus.More over the hindus over here are not united.Just for the sake of money our people have started to degrade their tradition.when temple are demolished by other religious fanatics we keep mum even the politicians viceversa we find the politician joining hands with other religios fanatics just for vote bank and pleasing the world community. So far no politician has raised his voice for the temple demolished in other countrys.

If hinduism is to floursih all hindus should stand united. Our culture should be taught in school and colleges.

Hindus

Well Said. lets start a national debate as to how this can be changed as a mind set in atleast amongst the people of the world. Sadly US and Europe live in there own coloured worlds. They too get bombed once in a while. Christanity, lest we forget has been one of the most brute and suppresive as a faith in the history of mankind. Persecusion and witch hunts was started by them, not to mention the treachery and politicking. Thats why so many of Islam hate them.

They can Pound our Country but not our Heritage
by D.Kumar on Feb 02, 2006 06:59 PM  Permalink

My dear friend Hinduism is not a religion. It is mother of all religions... So to pardon its children is our quality. Also I am not sure if you know what happened to Alexander the Great at the end of his life who pounded this country so badly. They can steal whatever we have . But they will never be able to take away our way of thinking towards god so many great heritage we practice like Yoga, Meditation, Satsang etc...
