Time and again, your articles are proving to be worth reading.
Though the feeling that it's our mother country has been there, I fear that after 10-20 years, the situation will be worse in India. This cannot be described in 10-20 lines here. There is a hell of stories behind. The largest democratic country is burying a lot of its colours & powers, courtesy to the politics & western powers.
I am in the middle east and have seen and hear/heard stories day after day. If this trend & treatment continues, the days are not far off when we become refugees in our own country.
I agree 100% to you , this all is because of our great leaders who will bow to any level to get their mercy for personal benefits , does not matter if Hindu religion ot India country is being cricified in the process. Hindus are the most tolerable peoples worldwide & we tolerate till the extreme beyond that we bounce back which can't be controlled by any in the world. We ourselves curse our country, religion , our own innocent people who live life preserving their ancestral behaviours. We , Indians are shameless creature. We do not owe any responsibility to our religion, country ,our people, our values, our standings, our faith. We are who make person sit in goverenment who does not care for us even & that does not bother us. We are bound to get second class treatment. We bow to anyone , we can sell our family for personal benefits who cares for religion or country , we are bludy bastard. We feel ashamed in speaking our mother tongue & proud in speaking any foreign language. Believe me , we are near to the end of our civillization .We will be living the western civilization very sooner & acquire christianity to make ourselves First class citizen.
First of all i wonder Why rediff has put up such a fanatic message on its home page when the country cries out for peace. Second of all i wonder what the the author is trying to do giving about biased and baseless views. The author states that in India, the numerical minorities (Christians and Muslims) are treated as minor royalty and are the ones oppressing Hindus. Sorry dude u dont know anything what is happening in India. And if u think the same thing is happening in the west think think again. New york celebrating diwali and ganpati visarjan etc, including europe... dude gets ur facts straight right. Wherever religion exist fanatism exists and wot u mentioned in ur article are some extreme incidents of fanatism. Sorry to say pal uve really lost it this time....
This is a rare article where "Hinduism" is discussed as a subject. It is shameful to see that all other religions are given more importance in India than the relogion of the majority. The newspapers, the T.V.Channels and other media treat the word HInduism as profane. This is probably the only relilgion whose followers make a mockery of their own deities.Whereis this religion heading to?
Why didnt you mention abt medicines, roads, railways, airways, economic and other things that we got in exchange? Accept it man hindus were weaker species and thats why britishers took money. So, u want to say that hindus cant protect himself so please abandon the religion. Cant you write something good abt Hinduism? If you are feeling oppressed thats you problem.
Probably you even dont know that the internet by means of which you posted this message came from western countries. If they want they can block it but they didnt that is know as generosity and courage my friend.
You are in reality a powerless terrorist..
The only Hindu temple in Moscow was recently demolished, with the promise that alternate land would be provided for its reconstruction. But this promise has been reneged on: the temple is demolished and no land has been provided. And there was a broadside by one Archbishop Nikon of the Russian Orthodox Christian Church, which, among other unparliamentary things, refers to Hindu deities as devils.
Hinduism, like Judaism, can reasonably induce guilt because Christian colonialism has directly caused the deaths of 30 million Indians, mostly Hindus (see Mike Davis' Late Victorian Holocausts: El Nino and the Creation of the Third World), and the transfer of at least $10 trillion to Western coffers, in the process beggaring the nation. Yet, instead of tender treatment, Hindus get more oppression.
No you cant what abt the numerous live that they saved? And what abt the Brahmins that killed more people that 30 million Indians. You are wrong, yoga is well practiced in many countries. Believe me there is no difference b/w your thinking than thats of a terrorist.
British took $1billion from India during their 200yrs rule approx. and ull astonish to know that INFOSYS and TCS, Reliance, TATA are much larger in revenues. For you figure to be correct roads of UK should be of gold not charcoal. Poverty is there in India from last 5000yrs and feminine from last 2000yrs. Conditions only improved when USA funded GREEN REVOLUTION in India.Do you thak you USA daily while eating food?
Islam, paradoxically after 9/11, has now attained the same level of kid-glove treatment in the West. This is because of three reasons: one, Leftists in Western media have bullied all would-be dissenters into censoring themselves. Two, Muslim spokespersons in the West aggressively shame or threaten would-be accusers into politically-correct speech. Three, Muslims have deliberately emphasised the commonalities between these three West Asian faiths. In this context of respectful treatment, it is amazing how differently Hinduism is treated in the West. In several countries, Hinduism is not even recognised as a religion. In determinedly secular France, Hinduism is not officially a religion, and is therefore treated on par with various bizarre cults that speak in tongues or handle rattlesnakes. I believe this is more or less the case in others like Spain and Italy, as well.
What do you mean by Hinduism is not recognized? You want to bring that Brahmin dominance there also. Caste System.
Man you decide first whether Hinduism is a religion or not? Or it is the dharma depicted in the movie Eyes Wide Shut. Then decide who is more knowledgable in Hinduism
