It is a vrey good Article and an Eye-opener , on the Plight of Hindus. I wish if the writer could get this Article published in National English Dailies for wider coverage and awareness.
The moot point from this Article is that the Hindus, who are more pseudo-secularist than Secularist, are responsible for this sad plight of Hindus to-day, in India and outside.
The Need of the Hour is for all Hindus to stand united and fight for protection of Hinduism, which calls for Justice to All and Appeasement to None, and rally behind the National Party who can safeguard this Mission. Ostracise the power hungry pseudo secularists and the communists.
People shd remember that " Unity is the Strength" and if there is Unity, no power on Earth can inflict damage to Hinduism.

Its a shame that hate inciting articles such as these and some by Francois Gautier which keep harping about hinduism and its decline keep appearing and sometimes border on self -doubt. My advice would be,that respect is earned and not forced , should people abroad respect hindus for their tolerance, knowledge and wisdom or for forceful demonstrations of self righteousness. Hindus rejoice everytime when a leading western celebrity embraces it, but tend to frown when somebody denigrates it. The same is the case with other religions. Let hindus standout from the rest of the crowd and prove that they are truly inheritors of that ancient body of understanding,peaceful coexistance,love and non violence.

The article has no connection with reality. Hinduism was never spread by official patronage or bribes.
Respect or Dis-Respect does not come out of ones religion. It primarly from the way in which you conduct yourself. Hindu fundamentalism is not going to help anyone in any way.
It is of course too much to expect rational though and analysis from Srini. However of late his writings have descended from the mildly annoying to sheer lunacy. In Srinis world all the countries, continents and peoples of the world are in a grand conspiracy to persecute and obliterate Hindus and Hinduism. If Hindus are so ill treated in the U.S., why are Indians (most of them Hindus) one of the highest income households in the U.S.? Why are so many bright Indians (most of them Hindus) anxious to migrate to and work in the U.S.? Srini contends the U.S. is moving towards intelligent design Kansas is the U.S.! Wake up dude Kansas is not even in North America! So what France does not accept Hinduism as an official region? How would Hindus be better off if they did? Who cares anyway about what France accepts or does not accept? Rediff.com does have that the token Hinduism-loving frenchie, Francois Gautier. Mr Jose i think its not only in hindus but also in your religion. If tht is the case in hindu wht do you say for christians restricted and been alloted to pray only in certain churches, dont you think tht you are discriminated in praying gods. It happens in hindus only with caste but not with gods. Take your christians for example the atrocities commmited against hindus : 1. making nude processions of Durga in toronto and the government being mom, not taking any actions against the culprits. 2.a renowed hollywood director using the slokas of bhagavadgita as a background score for sexul scenes , tht idiot not knowing wht the essence bhagavadgita is. 3.a uk post dipicting a hindu couples holding jesus 4.demolition of hindu temples in russia - govt mom in russia without taking any action ....these are only a few but just give me one instance where we maligned jesus or mary . its not in our blood. if you are so much sensitive abt the christians in india why cant you tell the west to stop backbeating hindu gods. knw wht the truth is dont try to make any comments which is irrelevant and out of context, already hindus in India has sacrificed enough for other religions.
You seem very sensitive to the unequal treatment given to the Hindus. What about the oppressive treatment of the lower caste Hindus by the upper caste Hindus? Is it that you consider yourself superior and therefore you don't care for the ill treatment meted out to the lower caste Hindus?

Your bishops are clamoring for reservations for dalit christians. Which proves that 1) A Hindu dalit converted to christianity remians a dalit in social status. 2)Casetism is rampant in christianity also; but is being covered up by clever propaganda 3) His economic status has not improved a wee bit and he still needs to depend on state largesse. 4) Your bishops have money to live like royalty by living in palaces and travelling in imported chevorlet; but has no money to support poor converted dalits. 5) which proves that all your crocodile tears regarding the situation of lower caste hindus are just cover for increasing your numbers by false promises. Of course you want numerical superiority only for political domination over the majority hindu population

My dear Christian friend, My advise to you is that those who stay in glass houses should not throw stones at others. I have many christian friends who claim racial superiority because their ancestors were originally Brahmins of kerala.None of them will marry a latin catholic because the latin catholics are mainly converted Hindu fishermen. In fact Dalit christian are not even allowed to attend church services along with other christian castes like roman catholics, Jacobites etc. Also would you consider marrying a jehova's witness who doesn't believe in Christ but believes in Jehova. And why do each christian caste (like marthoma, RC, LC, Jacobites, orthodox, penthcostal mission... etc.etc) insists that even other christians should convert to their particular castes if he/she has to marry a member of that caste.

Starting from Max Muller to current Dalitstan web site run by Christian Fundamentalists (Call the number listed on that web site, it will direct to Chusrch of South India). What is AIT? Isn't it some bullshit by these so called Christian Fundamentalists?
To say that Hindus are oppressed by Christians in India is meaningless ranting. The author needs to give instances of Christian oprression of the Hindus in India currently in order to support his statement. The author may be angry about certain things happening nationally and internationally. But the blame should go to where blame belongs. There are umpteen instances of violence against Christians in India by Hindu fundamentalists. Can the author cite a single instance of Indian Christians being violent towards Hindus in India?

There are hundreds of cases of christians physically attacking Hindus in the northeastern states where Christians are a majority.This includes several cases of demolition of Hindu temples as reported by the national media. The christians have also attacked the Hindus when the portugheese were ruling Goa. So may be the christians are just waiting for their numbers to increase sufficiently in other parts of India to start the physical intimidation of other religions. Or at least that is what happened in any place where the Christians have become majority. Remember East Timor also. Though physical intimidation may not bethere you are conducting many aggressive actions against Hindus throughout India. Your efforts to convert innocent Hindus by using foreign funds and illegal methods in the name of service(like denying food and medicines to Tsunami victims if they don't convert,denying medical care, education, food etc to hindus unless they convert) are indeed a form of violence against Hindus. The recent rape of a hindu nursing student by fanatic followers of evangelist Yohannan in kerala, the fraud committed by missionaries like Benny Hinn, Yohannan, Dinakaran are forms of violence.

Those who live in India and respect humanity are Hindus.
By your question, tell me who are christians, Maharastrian Christians, UP Christians, Kerala Christians, Tamil Christians, Goa Christians, Northeast Christians, Baptist, Protestant, Catholics, Jeohas Witness, or anything else.
True hindusim does not support cast systems. These divisions come with time. So before making comments to others religions, first check out yourself.

Dear Friend, How did a Jesus from Southern Iraq end up having blue eyes and blonde hair? Do you know garden of eden, babylon etc were all in Iraq. Hum most of the malayalee familes have a pic of blue eyed blonde jesus on the wall. By the way, why can't you have a Black Pope? What happened to the Archbishop of Bombay and tutu of SouthAfrica, ARE THEY SHOOODRAS OF CATHOLICISCM? Lst time I checked most of the churches in the west are only half full and most of the prayers are send to kerala and most of the preachers are from Kerala ha? So what is it? Indians have a sense of Spirituality to begin with?

Dear Christain Friend, As Mr. Ram has pointed out, you are having so many castes among you in tiny kerala itself though you are only 2% of the population. Of course you lovingly call them denominations.You are also quarrelling violently in kerala with two of the orthodox sects followers and bishops fighting it out in streets. Internationally of course there is the irish war & enemity between latin american christians & catholics. The hindus never had any such violence between the castes. You also have several gods( Jehova, Christ, his mother, His father & several saints)and you worship all of them using their photos or statues or cross symbols. So spare the Hindus your propaganda about casetism & idol worship.
This is no wonder since Hindus are their own worst enemies, turning upon each other in maniacal frenzy like pit-bull-terriers whenever it serves their interests. It is amazing that Bengali communists who are great casteists when marrying off their daughters despise Hinduism & run down anyone who speak in its favour.
