Yep, they were totally silent - these very same filthy dung-eating Commies didn't voice the tiniest of protest against Saddam's crimes against humanity, yet they now hold Kerala in a stste of virtula siege with their 'hartal', to protest the demise of their hero, Saddam - what compassionate Commies! Maybe they might shed some tears for all the innocent Indians executed to date by their home-grown fellow Communist terrorists.
i pity myself to see all these games played to get muslim votes.Keralites doesnt have a global perspective. Anyways i am happy that shias and sunnis will clash and so many will die. I am really ashamed to say that I am from Kerala. This is the sad state of the dirty politics in Kerala. The ruling party and the opposition joining hands to protest the death of a tyrant. Just another gimmick to get a share of vote bank of muslims who form 25% of the states population. There are plenty of issues in our state which needs to be tackled but no, these hypocrites make an issue only to project themselves as anti-American and be in the good books of the muslims.
But Harthal in Kerala is not tollarable. The Crocodile tears of CPIM and UDF and quick call of harthal merely for appeasing Muslim voters.
None of the brotherly Arab countries called for Band or Harthal, even they are the supporters of US led war and capturing of saddam. Kuwait, Soudi, and Qatar are the bases of operations. Why our fake Muslim lovers not saying any word against these countries.

i was really shocked to c these parties announce hartal in kerala,and its sad to c those guys destroying public properties.i live in a muslim and arab country.not a soul was out in the street doing all these stupid stuff.dosen't these guys hav anything else to do?and wht connection thy hav with saddam?guys first try to help ppl who r suffering in ur place,thn go international.SHAME ON KERALA.i wounder if ppl there hav commonsense to think b4 thy act.
