america's invasion of iraq is a debatable issue, however there is no doubt that iraq was ruled by a dictator, who had been responsible for death of millions in the middle east, with all the oil money he could have made iraq a truely developed country with democratic and secular rule. but he wasted that opportunity and plunged the region in war, blood and chaos. his rule was so iron fisted that it is doubtful if he could have ever been overthrown. while america invaded iraq with a misunderstanding, there is no doubt that america and all democratic countries hoped that democracy will be restored in iraq. that has not happened due to severe internal dissentions between iraqui's themselves, but america is getting all the blame. when you read most of the messages posted, they appear to be more due to hatred of america. there seems to be some hypocracy here, how many of those who post hate america messages will refuse an opportunity to enter and work in america? we are indians, citizens of democracy, we may disagree with other democracies in the world, but why this hatred towards our fellow democrats
its really very sad to exexcute to anybody, but here is nothing gonna wrong its all about his return, what all he done in his lifetime (its all bad memmories).
if saddam got this punishment for 1982's chapter thn what about G.W.bush for iraq attack ..are they not humen who survive still(american solidiers and iraqi peole)
This is very sad for all iraqi's. This is not the way to treat a leader a king like this. What to Bush who had killed so many people of Iraq. no punsihment for them.. rediculous
so finally, the man who lived by sword, who put lakhs of iraquis, iranians to death for his personal glory, has finally died by sword. let us not forget that he was a tyrant and a dictator who had invaded other countries, who had ruled by iron fist and many innocents were tortured by him and his two bloodthirsty sons. it is a pity that he was executed by iraquis only when saddam was overthrown by outside forces. this is something which the iraquies themselves should have done from inside. what is surprising that many muslims are misguidedly pronouncing saddam to be a muslim hero and a martyr. in fact he cared little for any religions, and more muslims have died directly due to saddam hussain's wars, so what are they really crying about? saddam's death should prove to be a warning to other dictators, past present and future, that they too will have to answer to justice one day.
I am not favoring Late Saddam Hussain. But I must say, the way Mr. Bush choose was wrong, unethical. He invaded Iraq to stop production of WMDs but whole world is witness of the fact that he find nothing as WMD there. Then he charged him for the death of some 148 Shias. I ask here who the hell gave him the right to murder him and other 150000 people of Iraq. Why dont he see the Brutal act of ISI in India and so why dont he invade Pak to Punish Mussraf. The answer is very much clear that killing Mush will not add a single penny to his pocket. On the other hand death of Hussain presented him the treasure of Oil Power.
If Hussain was deserving candidate for the execution, then Mush and Bush deserve it before him...
