It is a Sad day indeed..... Americans have in no way been effected by the so called atrocities committed by Saddam. They first raided Iraq under the pretext of WMD. When they failed to find any trace they then tried him for atrocities that he is said to have committed on the Iraqies. What do the Americans think of themselves..GOD ? Bush has now demonstrated his hold on the world. This has been largely due to their economic supremacy. A classic case of the rich ruling over the poor. Just like the British ruled over India. During those days they have committed many atrocities including the killings in Jallianwallah bagh. Is the British monarch responsible for this and if so I look forward to the day when we can sentence her to death by Hanging. I am sure this event will triger a hatred for Americans world over. May Saddam soul rest in peace.............
Many people are arrested , tortured , killed citing the reason as security threat to the American president, even countries are wiped out of the maps (Afganistan), some are loaded with sanctions and black listed (Korea, Iran , Libya). I dont understand why should a person be tried when he contemplated the killing of those who attempted on his life when he was the biggest authority in that country.
Wrong note set by US to the world. Saddam , criminal, dictator who ever it may be, no country doesn't have rights to poke their nose. Its clear cut barbarian act by US. An international rowdy(US) ruling a country (US) all cowards(other countries including India) watching and enjoying the rowdism by calling "super Power" shame on every humans.
if saddam is hanged for his crimes in 1982, bush should also be hanged for his crimes on innocent iraquis. america will suffer one day for its actions.
Mankind has yet to learn how to relate to fellow humans.Jesus Christ as per the Gospels had only taught how to forgive another & His greatest Commandment was 'to love one another'. 2.If mankind understands this 'funda' the world would be a better place. 3.In hanging Saddam the world is not any richer,& by his being alive there might some day have brought a change of heart to atone for the death & distress he is accused of. 4.If retribution is the only valid 'mantra' then many 'Heads of Government' should be sent to the gallows!!!

i think its 'nt the shia who have put saddam to death ,one thing since when has saddam become a democratically elected leader ,he was a dictator & for no reason he had attacked kuwait & iran ,he was working for usa intially ,his boss bush had put to him to death & the tyrant deserved to be dead ,its all karma & hope bush too follow suit .he is the biggest danget to entire world ,i think hitler is reborn
As a muslim I have nothing to say...as a human being I have to think...as a half Shia I do not feel happy of what the Shia have done to a former President....as an educated and civilized human being I feel hurt for what they have done to the only secular and democratically elected leader in the whole Muslim World...and as a rights activist today I have lost all faith in the international justice system and the countless resolutions passed by the United Nations for protection of human rights, diginity of prisoners and outsted leaders etc. etc. I am ashamed to admit that the United Nations looks bogus.
