Saddam's Execution
by asokaraj. e on Dec 30, 2006 02:14 PM  Permalink

It is true that he was an arrogant despot and killed many people. However, the judgement awarded to him does not seem to be judicious because he is reported to have killed 148 people, whereas the Americans and its allies killed several hundreds. Again, the after-effects of execution are likely to be more deadliest. At least he should have been spared by life term imprisonment.

down with imperialism
by ajay verma on Dec 30, 2006 02:09 PM  Permalink

Saddam Hussein may have been a dictator or a monster for the people of Iraq but America had no right to interfere in the affairs of any other country and should learn to mind its own business. American policy makers should be made to realize by the world community that they must put an end to their meddlesome attitude that suits their whims and serves no good at all. America is a dictator in its own right and its policies reflect a way of propagating imperialism in the modern world. Its time that America paid heed to the international bodies like U.N which think of larger interests. Saddam Husseins execution at the hands of America is indeed an unfortunate event; he shouldve been brought to justice by the people of Iraq

Saddam Hussein Executed
by Manish Oberoi on Dec 30, 2006 01:36 PM  Permalink

This is pathetic infact how can US hang him to death. In the row of generating its own monopoly in the oil sector, they have lost there ethics.

Saddam hussien should have been at the max given life sentence, after all he was the ruler of iraq not a pety criminal and a president has to do lot of things to be in power. if saddam hussien was a criminal then even Late Shrimati Indira Ghandhi was also a criminal of the emergency she applied to save her government.

US will never be able to justify this to the world.

Saddam is the real Hero for ever
by hbhaskararao on Dec 30, 2006 01:24 PM  Permalink

Saddam is the real Hero whether he is on earth of in heaven. Whatever Saddam has done is only for his country & stick to Iraki President-ship, what naturally every Political leaders does nowadays. If hanging is only the punishment for what Saddam has done, then Bush is to be hanged twice i.e. for his attacks on Afganisthan & Iraq where 1000\'s of people have been killed.
