I feel saddened with the news of execution of Saddam. I respect the laws and justice of Iraqi nation but i feel that execution came at a wrong time !
The execution was done especially at the time of festival to hurt sentiments of the people and I fear it will only escalate the violence risking lives of innocent people .
If the sectarian violence increases, who will be accountable for those deaths ? the US or the Iraqi government ?

Neither US Govt. nor the Iraqi Govt. but the Muslims should take responsibility by not indulging in the terrorist activities.
Totally taken aback, made me speechless. Its one of the gravest mistake US has done and they will realise it in future. It must have left a scare on all Shiite muslims and made them permanent enemy of US. I don't know how long US can turn a blind eye towards the hostility it is generating all across the globe and continue its 'US is the GOD' policy. When Saddam had 30 days, why he was hanged within hrs of rejection plea is debatable. But I do feel sorry for him. May his soul be in peace and historian do justice to him.
Sir, Dt:30-12-06 The real tiger of the world is died in the hands of millions of dogs. He never bent before the dirty dogs till his death. God will store his soul in peace and will do the same with his opponents.
He was doing many wrong things. But if he had been hanged for his attrocities against one community in favour of another community, along with him we have hanged peace between both the communities for ever. Unfortunately we still have not learned the reliable and sustainable ways of handling terrorism.
Well, saddam has had the last laugh. He was executed on vaikunt ekadesi day. What more could a dear friend of india get. Its unfortunate we never stood by him for the past few years.
