Saddam rightly got what he deserved. A despot who used poison gas against his own country men should not deserve a lighter sentence. Why should we blame America, the great nation which always stood for anti-communism, democracy and personal freedom? I personally feel India should welcome his execution. We have a lot to gain if we side with the Americans. See the examples of Japan and Germany. See where they have reached in 60 yrs after being totally shattered in WWII.
In my opinion a old man as him should not be hanged instead of that he should have been imprisoned for life long if he commited guilty.
I would rather like to say that it is not the fault of USA but of us who are just watching by sitting in our home and doing nothing. The powerful countrie such as CHINA, UK, INDIA and PAKISTAN could have given pressure on IRAQ and USA against this decision.
