I am sad to know about Saddam execution .However I dont know why he is being described as a friend of India ? Can anyone please enlighten me as to what great things did he do for India?
I see a lot of muslims in this message board feeling sorry for Muslims. If the roles were reversed, Saddam would not have hesitated to execute the rival leader within a week of his capture.

This is a clear example of white superiority over the non white people of the world.This entire iraq episode reminds me so much of the great indian war of independence very cunningly written as the indian mutiny .These 'white sahibs'cant imagine us challenging them in any way.A little 'misbehaviour'and we are punched and kicked.We are supposed to behave ourselves and reespect them no matter what they do.we are supposed to just listen and not ask.This is the reason the entire white world or the western world loves dogs so much.Saddam was one arab leader who was pride of the middle east.He was a strong man and he knew how to answer the west.He disturbed them with the threat that he could increase the price of the oil and was so angry with kuwait that he decided to occupy what is actually iraq in a way.Shocked at such 'audacity'these gentlemen of the white house triggered off the gulf war killing thousands.The excuse was they were helping kuwait.After sept 11 the white sahibs could not believe that how brown skinned people or people of an 'inferior culture and thinking' could punch then in the face really hard.With almost robotic cruelty they bombed and bombed iraq.now the hanging.
Dark era has started for Iraq, not ended as announced by Iraqi prime minister. Saddam was responsible for Iraqi unity. Now, I see at least 3 divisions - Shia, Sunnite and Kurds, not to mention oppression of Assyrian christians under every division.
Some reader has posted a with refering Saddam as "muslim lion". May be it is true - Saddam is a Lion in his galli (in is street - Iraq) but he pulled out of a rate hole when American Soldiers caught him.
What a disgraceful life Saddam had towards the end.
