It is Sad
by Imaad on Dec 30, 2006 09:26 PM  Permalink

It is sad not only bcz Saddam was hanged but the west especially the current US babaric regime lead by Bush was successful in its motto to make muslims weak in middle east so that the autrocities of Israel can not only continue but prosper. I dont thing Iran shud be happy with this execution bcz Iran will be the next threat to Israel and is next on the hitlist of US, The nation which provided a catalystic support to Saddam to attack not only Iran.

Bush is the worst leader world has had for long, he has only brought wrath to his nation and I am sorry to say that US no longer holds any respect internationally, which is unlike the concept I had about it when I grew up "the nation which I always thought to be the one who stand and brought justice to others"

As far as UN is conercerned for me it is disolved. UN belongs to US. It has gone on the same path as UNO did pre World War 2.

saddam
by rajesh on Dec 30, 2006 09:25 PM  Permalink

it is really unfortunate to happen. It seems that Bush was in a great hurry to do so. This has only given the status of a martyr to saddam who never deserved it

With the hanging of Sadam once again Americans have shown that they are the only to dictate their terms on the whole of the word, any one not falling in their line ,may have to face the same fate still this is the time to be united and think rationally over this issue

Saddam didnt deserve an end like this
by Sumita Das on Dec 30, 2006 09:21 PM  Permalink

I am very disappointed, though i dont know why. It has been expected that the US and allies fighting in Iraq would try to take everything away from Saddam, but I still expected a fair trial. I am not supporting the alleged misdeeds of a dictator, but I think that justice has not been done. It is simply a vigilantism, which we can do without.

Right from the very onset, the Iraq invasion has been justified by the invaders using the most spurious excuses. No weapons of mass destruction were ever found, but then Bush fabricated those flimsy moral grounds for punishing an already helpless Saddam, who had lost everything he had. Going by the same logic, didnt Bush killed thousnds in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars?

I personally feel very saddened by his death. He might have been a "tyrant dictator" who defied the world powers, but he was more successful in reigning in peace in Iraq. Look at the mess the invaders have created, in contrast.

It would have been better punishment to exile him under life imprisonment in a US jail. The US, by this latest stupid move has only further alienated the Muslim world, and created a hero out of the very person it wanted vilified.

saddam
by baba on Dec 30, 2006 09:20 PM  Permalink

it is president bush who should be sent to gallows for having killed millions of people in the name of WMD IN IRAQ. He is fully responsible for the chaotic condition which he created now in iraq.who will punish him for all his atrocities carried out in the name wmd/ terrosim. Now every one knows why saddam has to rule iraq with iron hand. UN please wake up .other wise shut your offices.
