This person forgot about Irans views on Israel right to exist and of course their stated objective to work towards islamic rule in Hindustan. The Americans are doing what we could not do in the last 1000 years. We always lost land, people,and culture to invaders from that area. The least we can do is let the Yanks do the job. Our leaders (and media) still dont have the stomach to lead us to battle those who continue to desire our extinction

Dear vivkul1, Hi, You are absolutely right. We lost a lot in terms of several angles due to invaders from that area, even worst than during the British rule.But whom shall we blame for this.When the dignity of our country is at risk, all Indians must stand unitedly. But our people got divided on the basis of caste, region, religion etc. We need a strong political leadership who know very well, understand and respect our culture and traditions.It is very sad that even today we are unable to select and elect such leaders from our own people.Hope a leader like Vivekananda and Bose comes again. America is not doing any social service to this world, they have their own agenda. We must be careful and should not get into their traps.Their history of foreign policy will teach us so many lessions. Sreedhar Kesireddy
Immaterial of what the author says, iraq war is oil war and so is iran war when it happens. US's oil lobby wants to control oil rich gulf region and they have their man as federal head right now to do the job. Thanks to osama who has given a perfect excuse to go after these oil rich countries. The cost of the war is borne by US government, so why would the oil lobby care for what government spends it is not going to hurt them a bit. But, i dont know why india need to react to the hapenings there. Our reactions will not count when US chooses to act and iranians made their choice when they chose a hardliner as their president. Bush\'s tenure will end soon but US may have to pay for his deeds for a long time to come. Hatred is the worst WMD and that is what US is fanning against itself in the gulf region for few more barrels of oil.

Unfortunately those who have commented the article have not been able to understand teh article itself. The comments are irrelevant to the context of the article.
When will rediff learn that all this american bashing will not work . remember you get your business from guys who works for american companies .so for your own good stop this kind of american bashing article or we will stop using rediff.
The policy of the Indian Government is as follows:
1) Humuliate its own people 2) Plunder its own people, starting from a person getting out of the airport and asking for a taxi. 3) Starving people ( UP, MP etc) 4) poisoining people ( no control over pollution) 5) Allowing criminals to govern the state and even the so called FREE Media has got demons like Sidhu parroting about cricket!
