I wish him well. Political parties & media are now trying to show off that they are friends of poor people. The opportunities are limited. If the people benifitted by reservation policies continue to enjoy the benifits for generations when will the chance come to really poor and deserving among them? Supreme court has rightly asked Govt to introduce the creamy layer concept for OBC's and SC and ST groups. But, no political party has got guts to speak up. Can the court under his leadership take this direction to logical conclusion?
This is a great news. Congrates to MR.Balakrishnan Sir who had survived the great obstacles of the caste system which still exists in the various parts of our country and even in many of the educated peoples mind who all though never reveal it in open. We appreciate ur dedication and pray for ur success in the future...
PLease do not credit his Dalit belonging as the only Merit that the next CJI has in him. A brilliant jurist, a fairperson and with finest judicial accumen, H should be applauded as a fine judge rather than first Dalit CJI. Still I salute his great achievement. Nirmal Kumar
Its really a great feat for our society. But to highlight the achievement under the light of his caste/creed is wrong . He has achevied the appointment ,because of his competence, which knows / identify no caste. Our media is very irresponsible on such issues.. in past too ,on such appointments they have guven it a co lour of cast rather than competence. Thanx
Why is the writer highlighting the incoming CJI's caste rather than his merits? Does writer intend that this acheivementg is becaouse of his caste? Common grow up.its high time we start seeing peoples abilities than their caste/religion or colour
New CJI has been made a CJI just because he deserves it and is the senior most person in the group and not because he was a dalit. Why make a heading of it. Let the article written do not create more division's in the country. Lets look forward and march ahead.
