Media -- Encouraging the caste..???
by Munnangi on Dec 22, 2006 06:36 PM  Permalink

Hi Media,

Why are you looking at Justice with caste and religion. Please look into his hardwork and efficiency. We want caste free India. As a responible media, why can't you do this for our nation? I request all the media to come forward on this. Media should publish articles against caste system. If media comes forward, No one can stop.
I hope you will do this immediately.

Regards
Munnangi

My congraulations to Justice Balakrishnan .
I feel this is a remarkable achievement for a Dalit to make and should be given wide Publicity. The caste conscious people of India ,who even in this technologicaly advanced times still cling on to the old systems which are irrelevant in todays society, esp. the states of Bihar and U.P.

I feel the odds and the sacrifices the honourable Justice and his family go through needs to be high lighted to all the youngsters in India .

Thanks
Biju

Now that he has reached this position using the 'Dalit' laddder, lets hope that he continue the good work done by other CJ's in the recent times and not get bogged down by curruption or political leanings which Dalits are more prone to.

After all it is proved that Dalits are just like ike any human beings. It is only because of the supression and supression of the poor people by the so called brahmin class that has these class has not seen the frutis of Indian growth. I congraluate the future Chief Justice of India Balakrishnan on his elevation to the highest post in judiciary. Like his predecessors I am sure he will uphold the constitution.

It is really a matter of pride that Justice K.G.Balakrishnan has become CJ of our country. But why is his caste is highlighted when reporting this?. He did not attain this position by his caste but by his hardwork. Let his caste not mask his achievement.

Appointment of Justice Ba;alrosjnana s new CJI
by Shekar A. Amin on Dec 22, 2006 06:19 PM  Permalink

Dear Editor

It is good to know that someone from low caste is being appinted as CJI. But a persons ability is more important than the caste. Should we make any issue out of caste based appointment. Is he appointed on the basis of caste or he is the seniormost and able judge of the Supreme Court.

At the same time is appropriate to note that it is after long time the Govt. appoints some to this post who is Comparatively having long tenure.

Regards

Shekar A. Amin

I am honoured to see KG Balakrishnan being selected as Chief Justice of India. I am equally DISSATISFIED with your sensation trick of reporting as Dalit/Schedule Cast etc. He desrves the Post by seniority - Not by Stupid SC/ST caste system privillege, brain (shit) child of IMPOTENT/CORRUPT MP/MLA?Ministers of India whims.

Its nice to see a new CJ. But the caption First "Dalit" CJ of India is not in the right sense. Why just point that he is a dalit. We are not seeing the end of this caste feeling if this type of things continue in the media.
