Mumbai Officials are one of the Corrupt and Inhumane Officials
by Sumit Kumar Dey on Dec 20, 2006 12:34 PM  Permalink

This is a very upseting incident. Mumbai Officials have been contantly harrashing people at exits. The reason is only Money. It seems that they are not there to maintain a good running system but to harrass the people. I have seen an incident when they went ahead and demanded Money inorder to let a pessanger carry his language. This is pure corruption.

We need to find out all official who are responsible for this kind of incident and they must be prosecuted.

Inhuman, pathetic behaviors
by Gurvinder on Dec 20, 2006 12:32 PM  Permalink

I am really feeling sad about the family May GOD give some sense of respect toward humanity to those kinds of officials?

Sometime rules should be kept apart looking at the situation.

by nirav raval on Dec 20, 2006 12:31 PM  Permalink

I am absolutely agree with the family who suffer a lot. I am witness to Immigration officer's inhuman behavior several time. They have absolutely no sense how to talk to people and how to co-operate with them.

Indian government need to replace this ROBOTS with human.

will you forget your US Visa?
by Ken on Dec 20, 2006 12:31 PM  Permalink

HI

I have not landed in Mumbai, so I am not sure if there is any discrimination with your skin colour.

Even one of my cousin (who is a US citizen by birth) was not allowed to enter India without a valid visa. And there is nothing wrong in that. I do not think that US officers will allow with faxed copies of VISA\'s.

The message is as simple If you do not have the eligible documents to enter india, you will not be allowed.

welcome

This is the real India we all face day in day out. Recently a relative of a constable banged into my car in a drunken state, when I requested to lodge a complain with the local beat police. They took me to dharavi police station and threatened to lodge a public disturbance complain against me unless i paid up which I ultimately had to do. This is what a law abiding tax paying 33 year ol muslim faces in India. It would have been better to take help of local goons.

I empathise with what has happened to you. There will be a feeling to avenge the wrong doing to you, but. Let us not follow Dominic to bomb some airport for this, why not instead bomb the constable and the relative responsible?

Hi Saleem!

You are absolutely right bhai. Take the help of SIMI activiists and they would be in a perfect position to blast some bombs at the airports to avenge your sorry plight. I wish I had the same privilege to redress my grievances as you have!

yes what u say is absolutely true.

there is no place for indians in india..

only in india talking beats doing..

our politicians and higher govt officials talk a lot and do nothing....

they think that they get salary only for talking about their job not for doing their job

Mumbai immigration deports kids!
by rajbal on Dec 20, 2006 12:19 PM  Permalink

Hi Vijay,

Sorry to know that you and your family had to travel back after 24 hours of journey. But just ask a question to yourself ,if you were going to US without Visa, will the officials there in US allow you inside US or at least give you sometime more than what is permitted to produce the the documents. So I dont think it is reasonable to expect Mumbai officials to allow you to get inside India.

Well US officials are lot more strict than the Indian officials I suppose in regards to the perfectness of producing your documents... If you dont have them then that's it.

So friend, I think blaming the indian officials is not fair on your part.

Regards,

Rajesh
