It pity that the kids had to go through such a hassel but parents were equally responsible for it. Do not just blame it on the Inhuman official. It is blunder to forget the visa and PIO card. That shows their ignorance. The official must have thought that he was being taken for granted.
I feel sorry for what happened to this family. But being an Indian, he must have known the attitude of Indian authorities especially in airports. Being an educated person, I can never accept that he forgot to get a visa. That is really ridiculous. While I reiterate that I'm sorry for the family, I feel that the entire responsibility for this is with the parents. After all, the decision to issue a visa is the discretion of the immigration officer and that cannot be questioned (although it clearly appears to be a case of racial discrimination). The authorities have acted within their powers. The NRI family has no locus standi here.

I dont see that they should be given any extra favor just because they are Indians, Rules are rules for everyone , on the other hand I am not sure why that French person got the transit visa may because of some treaty signed with Indian Govt or Immigrations officers couldnt issue a transit visa ti Kids becuase both had somekind of visa whether PIO or visitor visa, they cant overpass whats already issued to them, Its their fault that they didnt got the PIO and Visa with them, I would have agree if they forgot one but this is carelessness and then you are ashamed of being India, We are ashamed of having you as Indians, Keep your attitude with you and go back to BOSTON

It is very disheartening to think of the plight of those kids, who came to the land of their forefathers and have been expelled for not bringing the visa, which they had took from the Consulate at US but forgot to carry it along with them. To talk about that officer who had refused entry into india.......i strongly believe that this officer could be the d decendent of the white's who ruled india or could be the illegitimate decendent of the whites.......coz no india could behave like that with another indian while permiting the French man while prohibiting the kids of indian decent.
Our politicians including the present Prime Minister will beg with NRI to help india and want their expertise and money but when these indians visit india , it seems to the politicians they look all normal indians.................i am sure that officer could be doubting this kids or his wife......else why would be running for his home so soon inspite of having a reason to stay on and look into the problem of Mr.Viraj...........if anyone knows the parentage of the officer please let me know...........coz its my belief that officer could be a illegitimate son or his father could be the son of the whites
it is not enough if you become software engineers and make tons of money!!! you need to do your duty before blaming someone else.
