If their 'widespread' corruption is such 'common knowledge', why haven't these criminals been cashiered out of the service? Is it because being willing accomplices, they are being protected by the criminal politicians they aid and abet?
I fully agree with Governor of UP, that the number of corrupt IAS/ IPS officers is increasing each year. The main reason of this is that majority of them get plump posts on political connections. If PM/CM is Yadav /Sikh/Rao, all the plump posts will be occupied by Yadavs/Sicks /Raos as per the post occupied by the particulra cast, religion or so. This is very dangerous practice being followed by corned persons. Even in pretty jobs beaurocates look for their own clones. Politicians approach for such favours by telling that such a person is my daugher in-law or son-in law or some relative. Without approach getting govt. job is impossible especially in states.
