That is why if the Hindus in India think that Mulsim will be friends and administer equal secular law when they(Muslims) become a majority, they are in adream land. The Hindu btts will be kicked and their temples tranmpled as it did for 800 years of Muslim rule.
Yes india should have liberated Bangladesh, But the standard saying India gains in the war and losses on the table is true in this issue also. The least we should have ensured is that Bangladesh Should be guarded by Indian defence along with their defence, Should have had a corrior through bangladesh to reach the north eastern states, Should have made pakistan vacate the major part of kashmir, atleast till we have occupied the heights and a space through which a good road will be made to reach Leh, Ladakh. With none of this done It was a wasteful sacrific by the defence forces.
Ironically in this country of ours, we conveneintly forget the contibutions of our great people. Polititicians, analysts, speakers and so called intellectuals of a later periodtry to rationalise an event or a deed to suit their personal needs. I ask you, if INdia's helping Bangladesh was wrong then is it justified by the present civil administrations and politicians all over the country to overlook the problem created by the illegal migrants? They are simply not doing their job and instead passing the buck to long departed great souls. kk
Considering the present animosity of Bangladesh towards India I feel India should not have liberated Bangladesh but kept it simmering. India should have created a insurgency like situation in Bangladesh and fuelled it for ever to keep Pakistan and the ungretfull Bangladeshi people at loggerhead towards each other.
All the Muslims are loyal towards religion .When Paki or Bangla desh will attack us terrorists group can encourage Muslims to boycott indioans & helpMuslim countries.Indira should have better negotiate the issue in 1971 ,but Indira failed to do so.Today prime minister can put his & nation self respect in front of Muslims & Paki & Bangladeshis.
