Attitude.
by Amol Prabhudesai on Dec 01, 2006 06:44 PM  Permalink

That attitude "whose father what goes" like shows us we elect those who do not deserve to be in that democracy temple, which has highest regard for people. I am ashamed to say that we r living in a largest democracy of the world..

State of Indian democracy
by sbhujanga on Dec 01, 2006 06:25 PM  Permalink

Our Parliamentarians, legisltures should be complimented for their incessant effort for having stuck to their goal and achivements. From parliament to parliament, assembly to assembly, panchayat to panchayat, council to council in all cadres of administration by effective methids suiting to their needs, vision, like minded allignments they have achieved in changing the character of republic and democratic nature than what has been defined in our constitution.

How, practical it is as seen and felt. Present true clours of our democratic practice in a nut shell is Dynocratic, Mobocrazy, Demencratic, Pseudo secular, Highly Casist, Democratic, sychphantic, propoganda castic. But not the true esttemed colurs mentioned in our constitution. My prayer to GOD will be to save the future generations of our nation from such rulers.I trust one fine day GOD will shower his blessings and forthcomming generations will wake up.

Vandalism in West Bengal Assembly
by Senthil on Dec 01, 2006 06:24 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is truly a reflection of the state ofour democracy. Surprising that the parliamentarians Who raised concerns over Greg Chappel' comments have been silent over this episode. How can they When they themsleves indulge in atrocities of lesser order in the Parliament. These people have no right to vandalize public property and the govt should recover the cost of repairs from the salaries of the MLA in the assembly. This is true collective responsibility as a legislature.

Showing this to the public is a stunt by Communists. They are now getting a sample of their own medicine. communists (and Naxalites) kill and play with real lives of people who donot agree to their principle. So what is the big deal If TMC goonds just topple benches and chairs?
