Maha riots create uproar in Parl
by labrea on Dec 01, 2006 10:24 PM  Permalink

Anyone who says this outrage was not stage expressedly to unseat the present UP govt, should have their brains examined. Politicians routinely indulge in such egregious shenaigans of creating murder and mayhem to further their selfish political ends. Yep, this act of valdalism was carefully crafted with the resultant situation in mind, but by whom? Cong? CPI? BSP? BJP? RJD? My bet's on Cong.

With this caliber of leaders what do we expect?
by coolvyakti on Dec 01, 2006 05:49 PM  Permalink

So all these idiotic leaders, representing this glorious nation in the lok sabha, are acting like little kids, raising slogans, and wasting time on some stupid topic of who/when and why desecrated the statue of Ambedkar. Are there no other important issue in the front of this nation today - that a desecration of a status, in some nook of Kanpur is such a hot topic to discuss about?
Why the hell should the Govt waste its time securing all kinds of statues, all over this nation? If Ambedkar is so dear to some, they can volunteer to guard the statue themselves...if Shiv Sena has some other icon it idolizes, they can also provide volunteers to guard it.
And in all this debate about some obscure statue, no one wants to talk about the massive destruction of public property and the loss of revenue of this nation. No one is talking about the loss of precious time, of students who are forced to stay home or bread winners not being able to earn.
For these are the neo "untouchables" of India - THOSE THAT THE LAW DARE NOT TOUCH.
All these damn leaders should be made to pay out of their pockets for all the loss suffered by this nation.

The perpetrators of crime are seeking justice
by Pradeep Agarwal on Dec 01, 2006 01:56 PM  Permalink

It is strange that a reaction of this kind by anti social elements across Maharashtra is justified by MP's of BSP & SP. The UPA experiment to communaly divide the nation is now showing clear signs of social strife.

Dr B R Ambedkar - Representative and leader of all
by NARENDERA K GUPTA on Dec 01, 2006 01:48 PM  Permalink

I am pained that some immature persons belonging to community have done a disfavour to damaging the statue of our Great Leader, Educator, Guide of the stature of Dr B R Ambedkar Jee. After Mahatma Gandhi jee, Subhash Chandra Bose Jee, Sardar Patel Jee, Pt Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri Jee, Vinoba Bhave Jee, Jai Prakash Narain Jee - if someone's name is to be added, it has to be only B R Ambedkar Jee.

Some of our friends are terming Dr B R Ambedkar Jee as their own, which is not true. HE belonges to all of us to millions of Indians all over the world.

UP Police, known for its actions, may not be able to down the culprits. At the sametime, let all Indians from the world over should condemn the incident, unfortunate, poorly misconceived. In such cases, it is not the Parliament which suffers, but the common man on the street. My relatives, friends, knowns and unknown have suffered in Mumbai, when they were requested to get off the train.

Dr B R Ambedkar Jee will continue to guide INDIA and no power, from within or outside, can even think of pointing a fingr to HIM.JAIHIND.
