Indian politicos practice the destructive politics of 'obstruction for obstruction's sake' - had Trinamool been in power, it would have been CPI or Cong killing and burning down the state - same goes for the entire nation. Simply put, Indians by nature are spineless, tail-tucked-between-the-legs cowards, but once secure in the anonymity of a mob, they turn into violent raging hooligans, venting their fury by killing and burning with abandon. Then again, as the govt has no population policy, maybe this type of 'culling' has become the natural 'unofficial' alternate.
