Instead of making remarks on Shafiq why dont we put overself in his situation... imagine yourself going to a foreign country away from your people and suddenly 3 marshals come up to you and without saying a thing they pull you off the plane and then they dont let you contact anyone... now you are surrounded by all so-called anti-terror-experts and they drill you.... let aside this whole thing... first of all how did the US-counslate issue him visa if he never had valid documents... US-visa which is supposed to be the most powerfull visa was issued to a terror-suspect.... unbeliveable... now coming back to our story... now this guy was released from london and send back to his country... before he even could come and meet his ppl he was stopped by our great indian anti-terror-experts in mumbia.... and worst of all he was again taken into custody in hyderabad.... and all this happens on the basis of suspecion.. they have noting yet to prove that he is a terrorist.. except for a past FIR which means nothing in connection to this case.... think over this... knowledge is power.. use ur knowledge to feed ur brain with good stuff.. dont just go based on these media reports....
How this guy got admission in US university with 3-year degree no GMAT no Tofel score, he only have 10th class certificate in hand. while going to US, he have not taken his B.Com degree atleast with him. I find this university amusing, have they issued the I-20 papers for visa stamping.
Whether u r criminal or a saint it doesn't matter.. only ur motherland can bear you without any complaints. Bear that in mind..Don't take any hasty decisions like commiting suicide.. your home land is better than heaven
kalyan, first of all can you give me a proof of what you have said against muslim youth in hyderabad.regarding anybody getting deported, you will understand the pain and trauma one has to go thru, if your brother is stopped by such officials and goes thru this.Yeah the religion that yu come from does not teach u to understand other peoples pain but to point mistakes donw by others.Relax buddy, take a break.
syed amin jaffri, why are u defending this terror suspect. Rise above narrow considerations. do your job fairly. be honest and dont be a accomplice in the garb of journalist
Regarding the arrest of Mr.Shaif, the London police should have mentioned the cause of his detainment , lest, it may send a "wrong message" to the rest of the world.
If his travel documents are original and if he has enough educational certificates then the authorities should allow him to continue his education after making sure of his future intentions/plans.

Though the incident is unfortunate, the Immigration Officeilas have the right to question any one & every one. In all my visits to India, I was question at tranists, but I did have legitimate dicuments. As alleged by cops how can Shafiq cant produce his bachelor certificates. There are plenty of loop holes. What I really dont like is remarks that USA is seeing muslims suspiciously. Even if they do so there si a reason for it and I hope the muslim community will understadn and cooperate as it were devout muslims who were involed in 911. No offense or no finger pointing. Along with condemning terrorsit acts muslims travelling across the world should cooperate with law enforcing authorities. This is my personal opinion.
There are already lots of issues between Hindus and Muslim in India... Dont you guys think that we increasing the gap between 2 communities by such comments and reactions (I am talking about already posted 4 comments) May be the guy is guilty, may be not but by writing such nasty comments we all are encouraging terrorism / misbehavior... Is this what is written in our Hindu religion? I know you guys may say that that is why we have issue but fact is this is not Hinduism
AND BY THE WAY REDIFF JUST PUTS A SIMPLE "DISCLAIMER" AND ENJOYS REVENUE OUT OF THESE COMMENTS...
The gentleman in the story claims that he is innocent. if true then how come he has a FIR against him. as told by the police he just has class 10 certificate, how then he could apply for an MBA.muslim youth from hyderabad are brainwashed and made to join the terror camps in pakistan. and these fools indulge in bombblasts killing innocent civilians.somewhere deep dowm muslims are more inclined toward religion than their country.... though by no means this is a generalisaton , thats what the common perception is..

Not somewhere deep down, the coming upcoming generation of muslim youth are publicly tending towards religion not to country... Most of my friends(muslims) feel Pakistanis as their people, and they have an aim of visiting Pakistan at least once before they die(as they do in case of Mecca).

Kalyan Do you have a brain or you have donated it to Sangh ? Without a Bachelor certificate how did US consulate gave him Visa ? You cannot bribe them as it can be done with indians? As for FIR, any charge can be labelled against any one for a price in india.
Your problem seems to be a why a Muslim boy is going for higher study ? Only Hindus must be allowed to go abroad? But then your people will say that Muslims are uneducated. YOU ALL ARE HYPROCRITES
