I do not understand this policy of govt taking care of poor people. The policy of taking from the rich and giving to poor has proved to be total failure vis a vis Russia. China is progressing using commercial development and cheap labour. The only way to improve is by improving, infrastructure, basic education. Govt should only run primary schools and secondary schools. It should be a watchdog for universities etc where all should be equal. If an SC/ST guy needs reservations to get into a top institute like IIT which is not even into one of the top 100 in the world .. REF the week report. how can he compete with the global competition. We need to think globally and act locally to be a leader.with these lopsided policies of reservations, we are going to wards the african countries and not the west where we should look to.
By increasing the age of retirment from 60 to 62 years is not a good decision in a country like ours because
- Instead of generating employment for the youth, we are encouraging for wrong direction because of unemployment.
- You can get the work by paying Rs.5,000.00 to the youngest person instead of giving Rs.20,000.00 etc. to a person even if not fit, who should be retired (also earning through tuitions).
Ideal Situation :
Open scope for retirement at the age of 50, 55, 60 or 65. Whosoever wants to go may go at the above age and create a vacancy for the youth.
- The Clerk / Officers working in Offices who worked for more than 30 years is to retire at the age of 60 years even if he is fit. - Career of Politicans starts from the age of 60 years, even if he is not fit to work, run the country.
- Work is taken by a person who himself does not work and employee people to whom they give very less emoluments and gets full output in turn earn more profit.
- Whereas opportunities should be given to the individuals who will earn for himself i.e gets full fruits of his work.
- Education Free of cost or reimburse the fee. - Upgrade him by extra care. - May be given to the grass-root level. - Should not be given to any family member once availed of by single person who can take care of others. - If given reservation, where stands the word equal opportunity (as Constitution says). - Are Politians taking treatment from a Reserved Category passed out Doctor ? I think, no, they prefer from foreign country and least bothered for citizens of India ? - We are Indians and stand equal. - Economically weaker persons may be given support.
hi ranjit, maybe we r unknown to each other but there is one thing common in us;this rubbish isue ofreservation.wat i think is we shud globalise this question as a mass awakening so as to the same question comes on the face mr arjun singh.i tell u one thing,u dont worry about people following u,there r many n there will alwaz b many to upport this cause.we all students study day n nite n after the degree or the result the posts or the seats go to these rserved category.isiincerely dont blame these obc people at all,coz its not their folly that they r born inone ofthose families,but political people for their rapo n benifit can really screw down any obstacle that comes their way,itsreal saddening that we single handedly cannot reform things,but we can ssureeeely rise together n object the growing dramas of either reservation or singing patriotic songs etc. hope u'll kip in touch with respect to these scrap n do keep in touch.
QUOTA -- It means sheltering failures of all past Governments most of which were Congress manned. During elections assurances are given but had no capability to fulfil.

It is amazing that none of the antireservationist have ever objected to quotas based on payment seats, minority institutions,womens reservation bill or any other such quotas except based on Castes. Are these so called high caste intellectuls really anti-quota and or anti-backward classes.? Be frank and sencerely ask yourself, can a person be strong by keeping one of his limb weak or can a nation be strong by deliberately keeping mejority of its people backward. This nation of 100 crores can not win a single indivisual gold medal at Olympics in last 100 years. is it because there is no caste based quota or because of quota system of other kind.? Accept it or not, the quota in this part of world is there since existance of 4 Varnas and the very benificiaries of that quota system are now taking fake moralistic view at the cost of nation's well being.
