Muslim live in more than 50 countries including UK USA and other western countries in the world. I don\'t know about others but no western country provides such bounties. It is a game of vote bank in India where every politician is afraid of each other on and each every issue whether it is reservation or narmada dam or formation of new states or hike in the salaries of MPs -MLAs. The awakened muslims are also critical about such bounties.
It's time the courts had the gumption to buck the Cong dictates and protect the constitution. This hypocritical Cong-Commnunist 'secular front", the champion of secularism against communal forces, are the very ones propogating communalism by their blatant attacks on the consttitution for purely political gains. It's time the masses in this country saw these hypocrites for what they are - rank communalists to the core.
I think the court has given a right judgement. And the so called secularists / islamic scholors and so on have to understand that what has been going on for decades cannot justify it being right. And the sate does not spend on travel arrangements for the Kmb mela only security is provided to manage the crowd.
We should appreciate the judgment and it should be applicable to all religions. Its better government should spend money for infrastructure. As INDIA is a secular country
Thanks to the petitioner and lot of regards to the U.P.Court which has upheld the contention of the Petitioner. Those who have understood the Constitutiion of India, will treat all citizens equally in this Democratic country. Bloody politicians just to appease the voters create unethical, unconstitutional and unacceptable rules which the honourable Court has condemned. In case the Government wants to treat all the citizens equally, let them subsidise 1)all Hindus who goes to Kashi, Amarnath yatras 2)all Christians who wants to go to Velankanni in India and Italy 3)all the Buddhists to visit Nepal 4)all Sikhs to visit Punjab 5)all religious communities to visit their place of choice to worship their god
There is no minority or majority community with regards to visiting worshipping places. All are equal before God and our Constitution. Hence without any distinction, make way for all, so that everybody will feel that the Government is being run democratically and not communally.
Any amendment can be brought with the support of blind persons elected as M.Ps. Hence an amendment shall come into effect that who are educated(not literates) shall get elcted and rule India
Hi, This is a very important decision which will lay foundation of a REAL SECULAR INDIA. In a secular country, it is not government job to provide the subsidy for pilgrimage. It is simply bribe given indirectly to Muslims with an eye on their vote bank. But this decision will neither go well with politcal parties nor muslim community.For political parties, it is beginning of end road of Muslim appeasement and Muslims,who are NOW use to this subsidy, will feel uncomfortable. But I hope Muslims will understand as HAJ on Subsidy is UNISLAMIC. The same understanding can't be expected from political parties because it does not go well with their scheme of things. regards amit
Finally, a secular order. There is no logic in saying that muslims are weaker economically because there are lots of Hindus who are poor as well. In fact, if they are so poor, their daily needs like food should be their priority. Spirituality / religion should come much later in their prerogative - that is, when they have money.
