I am strongly against Islam. Leaving our predisposed views aside ...Northwest's employees began the ordeal by calling in for security.
The Muslims in this case were Indians travelling on Indian Visa. They did not enter Dutch territory on their own will. The Dutch had no right to abuse them. The passengers left the US and were to land in India. Both these countries believe people are innocent until proven guilty.
Northwest must pay a penalty, it's staff must be appropriately punished and the Dutch authorities involved must be punished for abuse or they should not raise a voice when Dutch travellers are abused.
This is not about Hindus and Muslims ...it is about Indians who must be treated correctly or the country must act against abusers. Lets not forget that Labanon was destroyed because two soldiers were kidnapped and the world supported its distruction. This was also no different from a kidnapping ...maybe for a small time.
Indians want to be a super power ...act like a super power and speak up for your own citizens so none dares to misbehave with your citizens ever.
What the Dutch did was perfectly correct.I myself have been a witness to the irresponsible behaviour of our indians on international flight.I was once taking an Air-India flight from Calicut to Dubai. One of the passengers was smoking a cigarette on the aircraft inspite of the announcement that it was a non-smoking aircraft.Inspite of repeated requests of the airhostess,he continued to smoke on the aircraft and finally had to be warned by a male staff of the cabin crew. These passengers act like they are travelling by a city bus. They buy plenty of items from the duty free shop all of which do not fit into the overhead cabins and they place these items on the narrow aisle without a second thought to inconvenience caused to the other passengers. The 12 uncouth fellows on the NWA flight should have been given stricter punishment for their unruly behaviour. And after doing all this they use their religion and ethnic origin as a weapon against against the Dutch authorites.3 salutes to the dutch airmarshalls for handling the manner in a quick and responsible way.
Whatever Dutch government did was based on suspicion. Though the 12 people suffered for a while but this guaranteed for the rest of us that we all are secured and safe. Government of countries across the world do not take chances any more. Even the 12 people who were detained should appreciate this.
What did you expect, Ayyashi, with Sharab and Shawab with 5-Star treatment. Thanks to Allah and Govt of India who had rescued you. You buggers are shame for India and Islam. Whether Islam teaches you to behave like this. It is people like you who have made Islam and our country to disrepute and disgrace. It is you people who have made all the Muslims suspicious. You people must have been bashed, kicked and that is why you people are not divulging what actually happened. Other countries was not soft country like India, where you can create any sort of nuisance and they know how to treat animals and barbaric species. I wonder the actions of Govt. of India and our dirty leaders, who have killed the essence of Islam by appeasing such dubious people and made the religion vulnerable. Sachha Musalman would have fear of Allah and would not disgrace Islam.
It is ironical that Indian Govt. (or a political party) has acted funnily that despite warning and banning (at least for 3 years) these stupid, the govt has acted to appease the community and disgrace the country (for all), which is clear message to other communities that our party is dependents to this community and rest you all are stupid. Our PM screams (on whose instructions?) that there should not be any suspicious towards any particular community, though it is true also but he does not tell that such heinous acts like Mumbai Blast or Godhra Train Carnage etc. are not possible without local support, be it moral, be through logistic support, be through shelter etc. Our PM takes name of LTTE (of Sri Lanka) and Sikh terrorism, but PM does not tell that LTTEs cause is entirely different, confined to Sri Lanka only and not proliferated to whole world in the name of religion and by the way where is Sikh Terrorism (a super cop like Gill was appointed to eradicate the Sikh terrorism, but for J&K, our govt could not find such solution, does not seem strange?). One political leader screams that SIMI is holy outfit, so do not touch them. Why the educated people do not spread the truth?
I believe there was an overreaction to general unruly behaviour which I have witnessed in several flights. When attendants request orderlly behaviour we as Indians are quick to take offense. But that's no reason to jail people! That's not necessary and pretty inhuman!!
The world is facing a very tough time in Security issues onboard all sorts of travel media and the passengers should behave well for their safety as well as for that of the co-passengers. What has happened to these twelve passengers on this flight is very much justified, if what we learnt through the media is correct that they misbehaved on the flight without respecting the international travel rules during take off and against requests of the flight attendants. It is a good lesson for all such mockers. Safety for life is important for each and all and one should not take it for granted to behave suspiciously and against the standing norms and rules in flights. One should praise this Airlines for their conscious and appropriate decision! Who knows if they were not taking a trial plan?
