When Muslims say that they only bow their head to Allha, in fact they are ignorant that every person belonging to The Religion prays like this. Prayer of Hindus, for that matter all religion prayer, ends with anyata sharanam naasti twameva sharanam mamha i.e. I do not bow down my head to any one except you my Lord. Now if one understand this by meaning of words only, then the question comes whether one has to take his/her mother's ( janani ) blessing OR not?. To avoid this misreading Upanishat says, janani jnma bhumi, swargâdapi garîyasi i.e. Motherland is even greater than heaven(i.e. swag, and all religion believes that GOD is in heaven). Here the word 'swarg' is used to highlight that motherland comes before lord almighty.
Many Muslim leaders, not scholars, have argued that Gandhi and Nehru accepted their views, also Gurudeb had written to them about certain words and its objectionable meanings of the song Vande Mataram. Gandhi, Nehru and Gurudeb might have, but one has to remember that they are also human beings - definition of a human being is, as given by the person who invented robot, accidental biological product succumb circumstances. Dear Lt Col V N Laxminarayana (Retd), there might not be any doubt that you were a good soldier, but there are some doubts that you know all the Religions well. first of all let me make clear to you this for Muslims, ALLAH has created Heaven and Hell, HE is not in Heaven (as written by you!), He is there on the skies. and howmany Lords do you have, some of you bows to Krishna, some to Ganesha, some to Indra, some Ram, some to Hanuman, some to even the FIRE, some to Water, some to..the list goes on, I am sorry if I hurt some people sentiments, but here the topic is whether one should sing Vande mataram or not..but not that the Religion and where you bow(as you have directed the topic)? its better if you come to the main topic..if you find good in singing vande matarm, you are free to sing, but you have no right to make others sing the same song... I am interested in singing Saare Jahaan Se Acha Hidustaan Hamara.. if vande matarm was inspirational to the freedom fighters, then Saare Jahan se Acha also glorifies India... wake up! and concentrate your thinking on other serious peoblems of this country ..like to help the poor, to build the roads, to take care of orphans..etc
It is pointless to argue over the song. It has always been a national song for many many decades. Just because a certain segment of the population refuses to sing the same, does not in anyway brings down its importance from our country's point of view starting from the early freedom movement days.
Yes, of course the singing of the same should be made compulsory in all public forums.
Can't you see that the Vande mataram contains the name of godesses. I mean Idolaters, relate everything with Idols or Images. For example God, u make idol U worship them. Don't even bother to go to the scriptures he has alleged, given to you, the vedas. It says strictly do not make an image of god in any form. But u did & concentrated only on that idol. Same way, created an image of a women of our country & making fuss out of that. When a image has been created & the song is written on that, then tell me how we can accept that. What happens in actual land, has to be taken care of. U ask of bowing in front of that image, we reject to do so. Istead we say, when time comes we sacrifice our life for our home land. But do not make a mockery of te same and create controversy & unrest on the same land. The man who has written, with a strong feeling towards our country, if he knew we will play with those patriotic feelings, then surely he would have long back burned this song. Which is giving only probles now. We have forgot that it had stird the emotions for freedom. But now, it become a foot ball and politicians players, we spectators with motive to hurt fellow spectators. grow up.....
It is not the mere recitation, but it must be kept in mind that one should not do any such action that put a blot on our mother "India" since we regard Her as our monther,jhence the indians are our bretheren, It would be better if our Politicians and Bureacrats be loyal to our nation/Mother and avoid to resort to Corruption, what ever we tell it must be from heart, hence it would be real vande matram if we resort to honesty, loyalty and do our duty,no matter what post one held, in this way we can make the life of our bretheren happier and peaceful,It would be the real Vande Matram,frankly speaking A nation is happy when the people of the nation are happy rather than preaching high and doing just oppoiste as happening since independence, The Ministers/MPs who are preaching this must see that hundreds of crores of Rs from the Public are dumped in their accounts that belong to the Public/nation and must be utilised for the development of the public, but on all such occasions of national festivals/religious festivals we are greeted by best wishes, when the people are without food, shelter ...No matter we recite or not Vande Matram, with empty stomach it is impossibble

Mother land comes first and you should not feel bad or hurt Singing the song for her. You need to give repect to land were you live in irrespective of your Religion. If you are not then you are not respecting your own. Vande Mataram.........
