Vande Mataram,..... a passion for nation (not for traitors)
by Bharath on Aug 24, 2006 02:14 PM  Permalink

Vande Mataram,

Its the symbol of patriotism,nationalism,gratitude...

It is the integral part of each & every Indian(who is not a traitor & not a back stabber)...

Bhukari & all his supporters are creatures for whom religion is more important than humanity & nation.

Even if they dont have food to eat also...I'm damn sure they donot stop back stabbing the land & people which have nourished them for last 10centuries,...

All they do & breathe is dirty religious fanatism.

Please tell me can any human other than these demons can believe in this philosophy....

"Nationalism is the false idol, one divised by non- Muslim, 'enemies of faith,to divide muslims& thereby weaken them. All non-muslims are 'Kafirs' & no distinction should be made among them. Because 'enemies of God' are expected to show stiff resistance to Islam & violent jehad is to be waged."

I hope those so called followers of above philosophy die a horrible death for spoiling the name of their prophet & more than that Mother India who stands above all the religions/prophets..

Why the muslims object
by Monojit Bhattacharya on Aug 24, 2006 02:12 PM  Permalink

The Vande Mataram Song has inspired one and all with patriotic feeling and united us in our struggle for independence. Worshipping our country as our mother is what comes naturally to any Indian having respect for the country. Any citizen of any country symbolizes his country as father or mother and shows his respect. But the problem with muslims is that they don't know how to respect the women folk. This is the sentiment expressed by the shahi imam when he objected to vande mataram.

Vande Mataram
by Shenshah on Aug 24, 2006 02:11 PM  Permalink

One can be a very good citizen, act very wisely and in responsible manner for the uplifment and batterment of the country. How his loyality for the country and respect for freedom fighters can be judged by reciting few words which apparently against their basic faith?

On the other hand you may see score of people who utters National Anthem, Vande Mataram very frequently but selling 'Mother' (Bharat Mata) for few coins, spreading communal violence for their benefits still thery are considered patriots?

The greatest Slogan that made the ENGLISH Mad and paved the way for our Independence. Why in Schools alone? I personally feel every one of us in the Independent India should celebrate and sing the song on its centenary day atleast.

Vande Mataram to me...
by TARUN BHATNAGAR on Aug 24, 2006 02:04 PM  Permalink

Any person, group, community or religion that puts itself ahead of the NATION gives me cause for concern.

When I recite Vande Mataram , i don't and no one should think about their religion. If you are saluting the nation then you should not find excuses to avoid doing it because of any reason whatsoever.

Patriotism and religious fervour are two different aspects but excess of the latter can only lead to disaster.

Since the Indian polity has never allowed the common man to get out of the vicious circle of Roti, kapda & Makaan - the patriotic feeling which should be at the fore-front does not fill the heart with the same emotion that some religious feeling does.

India can be called secular because the majority believe in Vande Mataram, else, in an age when all beliefs should evolve with time, going back to religion for defying a national voice is totally unjustified. It is ill-ominous for a nation that already has community-pacification as the mool-mantra of the ruling parties.

The longest constitution in the world creates loopholes for politicians and confusion for the common man who does not have time for detail.Make things simple & effective.

VANDE MATARAM & JAI HIND !!
